Finally found a adapter that works with 2560x1600 displays
Works with 30" Dell 3007WFP 2560x1600 display using displayport signal and USB power from Dell E-Port Replicator (USB 3.0 model) connected to Precision M6800 laptop with AMD FirePro M6100 GPU.

Not suitable for my intended use.
I purchased this product when I added an nVidia GTX 1080Ti video card to my system and discovered that the card had no DVI-D output, limited to Display Port and HDMI only. I use a NEC MultiSync PA301W monitor running at 2560x1600 native and the video card adapter to DVI-D wouldn't handle it.This adapter permitted to to access the full native resolution of my monitor but did so with constant flickering between full screen and half screen (divided vertically down the middle, displaying first left, then right, rapidly) and didn't stabilize to full screen until Windows 10 loaded completely.Even then I had flickering during some sections of Skyrim, rendering the game almost unplayable. It took me several months of system adjusting to realize that the problem originated in this adapter.I replaced it with a Tripp-Lite Display Port to DVI-D adapter after reading a review from a user who had a similar issue. There is no flickering at all with the Tripp-Lite adapter. My system now runs as I expect it to.I cannot recommend this product for users who want to run a DVI-D display at resolutions of 2560x1600 or higher.

works, ok. screen has multiple single pixel red ...
works, ok. screen has multiple single pixel red and green lights about 20% of the time. About twice a day the screen flickers on and off then becomes unreadable. It returns to normal after about 5 to 10 seconds. This is a secondary screen, and I don't plan on using it for long. Not worth the annoyance of returning it.
