Sound alert instruction settings will test your patience - useless.PIR walk test detection settings very poor and thats being charitable !.Battery life indicated as UP TO 6 months so does that mean that from new the detection rate will be deteriorating and be unreliable due to the ever reducing battery power ??.Overall cannot recommend and note the price, just under £20 so it wont qualify for free delivery which just compounds the feeling of 'What a waste of money '.Update: After 6 weeks of usage I have had to take it down. Constant false alarms. The PIR is currently live, face down in my porch and shouldnt detect any movement ?. Wrong !. Its still giving the occasional false alarm !. Would I buy this not fit for purpose Chinese made item again ?. Wished I hadnt of bought it in the first place.

Arrived very quickly but a little disappointed as the base unit is either off/on and there is nothing to adjust the sound. My walls are quite thick so had to find a place that would work. The sensor on the driveway hasn't a very wide angle at all, so someone can get a good 2/3 metres into the garden before it activates. I suppose it does do the job but I wouldn't buy this particular unit again.

Easy to install good detection and very good notification.

Have had a number of these over the years. This one lasted 6 months and then started continuously going off.

Only works intermittently, so no good...
