I loved this rug so much in our family room that I purchased another one for the living room. The 8x10 corners laid flat the first day and the rest laid flat in a few days. The 9x12 is pretty big and did not come rolled. It came folded which I understand is easier to ship but created more wrinkles. We have had it now for about three weeks and some of the wrinkles are still visible but that area does not get walked on much. I will have to lay something heavy to flatten it so no one trips. Again, the corners laid flat in one day. I did not experience and smell as reported by some reviews. It is a low nap which we like with a disabled family member and is super easy to vacuum.

The carpet has a nice soft feel on bare feet, and the pattern is muted enough that it isn’t too busy for the room. There are streaks to the pattern, but I expected this from the photos and it gives it a little visual interest and faux aging.The carpet is thin with a very short pile. Lots of ripples in the edges and creases that didn’t want to lay flat. We ended up putting double sided hardwood safe tape strips at all 4 corners and every so often along the edges to pull most of the ripples out. We put extras on the edge facing a doorway to keep it from curling up and being a trip hazard.But the smell! This is not a typical new carpet smell. Not a latex smell or rubber smell. This smells like industrial solvents. Being in the room with it made me feel unwell. We took it into the driveway and shampooed it with our green machine. After it dried, we let it air out on the back porch for nearly a week. Finally, we sprinkled a couple boxes of baking soda all over and let it sit for 24 hours before vacuuming it up. After putting it in the room, we left the window open every chance we got for another week. It’s now finally tolerable though if we close the doors to this room, the smell strength increases.So, would I buy it again? No. I would gladly pay a lot more not to have a so much of project on my hands to make it usable and not to deal with the smell.

Love this rug, I bought two (one larger and the other smaller) to cover our L-shaped room. This modern sleek light gray with subtle darker charcoal color pattern goes with anything. The pile feels soft and plush but use a rug pad. Deducted 1 star because we followed the instructions to the T, but larger rug still has some wrinkles. Tried steaming but nothing works. Hoping they fall out over time.

The first picture is more accurate for the color. I do love the color and the print! However, it almost looks like there's stripes. The only other thing that bugs me is the wrinkles on the rug. I've been putting heavy objects to flatten the wrinkles, but I'm hoping that they go away the longer they're on the floor. It's def on the thinner side, but not too thin. I'm only renting right now, so it's worth it for me to get a rug that's nice but not too expensive.

My son likes this rug so we are keeping it. However, it’s not pure navy and white. It has light blue or turquoise in it. If I had known that I would have gone with a different rug.

We needed a 12 ft runner for our hallway, mainly to keep our older dog from slipping on the hardwood floors. This rug was a great price by a reputable company, Safavieh. It is Oeko-Tex certified, which means it is non-toxic and safe for children and pets. The light blue and ivory is a beautiful color and it goes with our other much more expensive wool rug in the next room. The rug is somewhat thin, which is fine for the hallway. We have a rug pad under it to keep it from slipping. We have had it for about 3 weeks, and there are two slight wrinkles at either end that have not completely flattened out. Overall very happy with this rug and recommend it. Our dog likes it, too!

I typically love this rug brand. We have three from this company and the others look great after 4 years.But THIS one is AWFUL! It’s thin, and was really slippery at first. But it traps dirt and dog hair like nothing I’ve ever seen. It’s impossible to vacuum, as it just holds on to everything.We do have a long haired dog, but we’ve never had a rug trap hair like this one. It just always looks dirty.What little pile it did have completely matted down, and it looks 10 years old, rather than 5 months.We keep a really clean house, so this stands out as a dirty eye sore, in spite of regular vacuuming.On the hunt for a replacement. Concerned that this Sefavieh’s quality has sinkmisbed significantly and will likely look for another brand :(

The delivery was amazing the rug came and it was so well wrapped. Easy to roll out and the bumps in the run went away after a couple of days. Cat made a mess and it was so easy to clean off. Very soft but after walking on it.. it kinda flattened out but still very happy with it. The design was very nice throughout the rug. Very pleased! Shocked I even got a rug online! But price point and the actual rug it was perfect.
