Works great, perfect for limited table space.
I have a couple of devices that need constant 5 volt charging. I was tired of having so many external chargers in the way. This resolved that problem. It wasn't difficult to install, I just had to cut the power to the circuit before installing. It changes my devices great. I recommend this highly.

Better than the plug in style
The installation of this was very simple and pretty straightforward . It took me only about 8 minutes from the time I cut off the circuit breaker until I was finished and cut it back on to test everything. One aspect that I'm still undecided about is the front cover. The one on this device just snaps in place and although it is nice and tight and looks quite well, I'm not sure yet on if I'd rather have the conventional style of a single or dual screws to hold the plate on. Reason being is I'm not quite yet sure on how easy that front plate will be to get off nor how many times the plastic will take all the force required to install and remove it.The one thing that I am sure I don't like is how the hot and neutral wires are affixed. These two wires are affixed on opposite sides of eachother and instead of being able to beind the bare ends of the copper wires and clamping then down with a screw. These are similar but there is no possible way to bend the wire as you can't take the screw completely out, and even if you could there are only two holes on each side of the screw to insert the wire but everything is recessed into all the plastic that you can't possible bend the wire after you've initially inserted it. I wish I would have taken a picture of this for reference before I finished installing it but now that it's all in I'm afraid of breaking the front cover if I try to take it off (hence why I'm undecided about that design feature)Another odd thing is the directions it came with specifically tell you to bend the wire in the traditional method and don't mention the holes, os I'm wondering if this design change was added later on. But the reason I don't like it is very quickly seen when you start to tighten down the screws holding either of these 2 wires. As there is only a wire on either side of the screw, there isnt as much contact area on the wire itself and the screw itself doesn't tighten down evenly and as soon as it starts to get tight the screw will start to bend towards the side without the wire underneath it.Yet another "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" when it comes to the design of how the hot and neutral wires were to be affixed. But beside all that it was very easy to install, it doesn't look out of place and so far it has been working quite nicely and the kindles that I have charged with it so far have done so pretty quickly. If they were to fix the issue with how the wires are held in place I'd give it 5 stars.

Excellent product
Great idea and a well made product. If you replace an existing outlet that is in series with other outlets, you may have some difficulty installing this item. Most standard outlets have 5 connections (2 for the hot, black wire; 2 for the ground, white wire; and one for the common ground, bare wire). The installation instruction for this product calls them the Live, Neutral and Earth wires. This outlet has only three connection points (1 for Live, 1 for Neutral and one for the Earth wire). This is not a problem, however. if you use a three-way electrical connector for the black and white wires. Plug the two black wires into the 3-way connector and use another, short black wire to go from the 3-way connector to this outlet. Likewise for the white wire. It turned out to be an easy installation. See the attached pic. Be sure to de-energize the circuit before installing.

Works well
This was my 4th one I've bought for my house. It can be a bit tricky to install but after a few of them I have it down. I have them in different spots in my house where we need to charge things through USB and this fits the bill.

Broke in less than a month
Worked fine for a few weeks, then less than a month after install it stopped charging via the USB ports and it was persistently hot with an odor of burning electronics. Regular outlets still worked. I took it out of the wall and noticed a browned plastic layer on top, now I have to go buy a new set of chargers from another company and deal with another install.

Low power and end of the AC line OK. Not recommended for high power.
USB ports do not seem to have short circuit protection. One of them stopped working with a worn apple charging cable. The plates in the back seem too close to each other. AC line 1, neutral and AC line 2 are too close compared with other sockets. If your wiring is thick and ready to provide 1000W per outlet, the plates that secure the wires do not seem to provide a very strong connection both mechanically and electrically. The wires in my house extend the AC power to the next socket by making a joint with each socket. So I have two screws per pole: Power in - Power out. This product has only one connection per pole. However, if you intend the use of this socket in end of the line connections, 1 cable per pole, and low power (I'd say no more than 300W per outlet), this may work just fine. The back of the product is a bit bulky. You need the in-wall box to be clean of wires or concrete for it to fit well.

Very awesome product!
These are awesome! Ordered 5 of them and they are easy to install. They really help with people wanting to charge their phones. You don't have to tie up an electrical outlet. Just plug right in to the USB port. Will be ordering more soon.
