Durable tarp!
We looks at several tarps and settled on this one because of the size. We took it camping last year and it got quite the weather workout! We had some big rains and some crazy wind!!! The tarp is still perfect. We used some poles that are the telescoping type that we bought separately. My husband and I both really like to set this up using a portion of it down so it also acts as a wind break. I would 100% purchase this again, though I don’t think I will need to for a long time.

Just as advertised and worked perfectly.
I wanted an oversized lightweight easy to pack rain tarp for over my hammock when I'm camping in the mountains.I used this product for the first time at our Arkansas colors rally this past late October had weather that was in the high 30s to the high 60s.Heavy-do every night and had a very light shower one day.Very glad I have this oversized tarp over everything as nothing got wet and it was completely dry underneath.Pack up was a little tougher than normal but after putting it up two more times since October makes it a little easier and something I've gotten used to.As a moto-camping person something has to be able to pack down small enough to fit all the gear in dry bags and strap them to a motorcycle. This may be a little large for a backpacker but it's perfect for someone Moto camping and especially packs away really small if someone is camping from a vehicle.I do not know about longevity yet but hope it will last for years.

I’m on my 2nd! That means it’s good!
This is my second large geartop tarp. I think it’s a great buy for the money! My first one lasted about a year and a half with probably close to 20 deployments. #1 went through some really big wind storms and suffered only a little damage, until a couple of weeks ago when I tried to put it up in 18 mile an hour steady wind and it just tore the length of the tarp. It’s my fault for deploying it then but maybe the fabric had gotten tired. I’m going to be more proactive in considering heavy wind deployments from now on and I’ll be taking it down when the wind is heavy. It is very waterproof and it has a LOT of shaded protected area. My first was dark green and my new one is camo just because it looks cooler. I am keeping my first one as a back up and I am repairing it with tent repair tape.

No poles included.
Good quality but I did not read close enough to realize it did not come with the poles in the pic so I gave it a 3 star review for miss guiding me

Very nice rainfly
It is nice and lightweight. Packs down nice and small, although it does suffer from the very common problem of not being able to fit back into its storage bag once used. I have to figure out how to properly fold it to get it back in.It seems like it has a lot of options of how to set it up, depending on the needs at my campsite. It comes with plenty of ropes and stakes for tying it down, though it could use a few more. I suggest investing in some nice poles and additional stakes and ropes for this tarp.

Awesome rain fly!
This was my first trip with the new rain fly. Ever camping trip before that it’s poured rain, I’m that lucky I guess. This year I decided to invest in some additional cover. It worked so well and drained effortlessly on its own with gravity. I was so impressed that not only was my tent totally dry, it didn’t even “feel wet” without water. Which can happen without the proper covering, the air quality was just better! I’m single so my sister helped me set it up with the separate poles that I purchased! Easy to take down as well when done with the trip!
