LumarySmart Plug, 16A Wi-Fi Outlet, Wireless Smart Socket, Works with Alexa & Google Home, Remote Control, Timer Function, No Hub Required

Of other smart devices I have, this was definitely one of the simplest to configure. The app may look simple or even crude, it does what's needed. Within 5 minutes I had connected to the plug and setup schedules for on and off. All i needed. For that, i would consider it extremely good value.

Bought this smart plug knowing that it may be a bit temperamental when connecting to the app.No matter what I try the smart plug just won’t connect to the 2.4g wireless network. It’s horrendous.Due to this I can properly review this product at all. Such a shame as I think I will have to organise a return for this item

Being a smart life enabled device, means that I don’t have to stick with the Lumary app when things don’t go according to plan.The plug will only connect at 2.4ghz so if like me you have both 2.4 and 5ghz enabled in your router you may have issues allowing the app to auto search and identify the plug.If that happens you may have to temporarily disable the 5ghz Wi-Fi option (not something everyone can do easily).I tend to have more success using Tuya and searching for the device manually.Again failing to auto identify I Tapped on the default Wi-Fi plug option, picked up the plug on my second attempt and I was able to install it relatively easy.If you do have to reset the plug it’s just a case of turning it off and on again holding the side button down until the blue light rapidly flashes for pairing and away you go.Once paired I tend to use my favourite app, SmartThings and assign it to a room or group. Telling Smarthings to look for a Tuya device finds it quickly.Once added to my Smarthings device list I then find Alexa picks it up quickly and adds it to my device list in the Alexa app. Without fuss I am able to use my voice to control it.This might seem like a lot of trouble but it works for me and I am happy with it.The 16a plug itself, being round is small and neat and has a really subtle click when it switches on and off which I like. It responds really well and I am actually using it in a dry box outside so the Wi-Fi range is good.It is well made and works as well as any other I’ve purchased.Energy monitoring is a good idea especially with the price of electricity however I’m only using the plug for low current LED lights so not so useful for me at present.

Bought this as I use the app for some LED strip lights already. Integrated well and was easy to pair. Wish they were half price all the time as I'd buy more!

Works great and was very easy to set up with the Lumary app. Definitely recommend. Got Google Home Hub but have not set it up with it, I just use the app.

The title and description mention the plug working with remote control and the SmartLife app that I already use for several devices.Unfortunately the remote control option is a bit misleading since it means using the phone app as a remote control and the SmartLife app did not work for me and did not find the product.Out of curiosity I have also tried their Lumary app and I was able to use it but surely that was not my intention and did not want to have multiple apps to control a few devices.

I got this for my daughter to use in his bedroomWith warmer weather coming my daughter likes a fan on her room but forgets to turn it off when in bed. The plug is well made and is a nice small compact design. Once plugged in and fan plugged in turn on open app and away you go.These little devices work perfectly in the hands of people who know what they are doing. It is common practice to have to disable 5Ghz channel on WiFi when connecting a device that only supports 2.4Ghz, or you could do what i do and that is have a network access point and set up a channel just for the smart home devicesEvery one of these I have connected works fine and I have some over two years old and still functioning perfectly. Integration with Amazon Alexa is simple once the app is installed and account set up and running voice commands to Alexa simple as we named the plug my daughters name Fan.Over all im super happy

Es la primera vez que compro un enchufe inteligente, y no puedo estar más contento. Hace lo que necesito, que es poder programarlo para que se encienda y apague cuando le diga. Calidad del plástico buena.De momento muy bien.

Un ottimo acquisto, funziona benissimo ed è compatibile con Alexa.
