Awesome book, terrible seller. Bought from Magers & Quinn Booksellers, and there’s a huge gash in the sturdy-looking cover. One of the corners is essentially lopped off. Should’ve paid the extra $6 to purchase new.Book itself: lots of useful tips and interesting patterns. I haven’t made a quilt yet but am planning a few from this book. Blair is a great teacher—check out her YouTube channel and other online classes!Covers how to treat vintage fabric, general supplies, techniques, lots of photographic step-by-step instructions and thorough project supply lists.Originally borrowed this book from the library but was so reluctant to let it go that I had to buy it. :)

I first heard about this book from Alyssa Thomas at Penguin and Fish and so glad she recommended it! Not only is this book beautiful but it’s full of inspiration. I have a lot of quilt books but this is one of my favorites, it sits on my coffee table in my TV room and I look at it every day! I have a lot of vintage fabrics, have saved every pair of jeans we’ve had, vintage table cloths, vintage hankies and vintage quilt tops. This book has insired me to make something useful out of them rather than have them stowed away, I want to enjoy them! The photography is beautiful, the instructions are very well written and easy to follow. I especially like how she adds embroidery and embelishments to her work. When I go Thrift shopping I look at things differently since purchasing this book! I highly recommend this book to new and seasoned quilters and crafters!

While the author includes some creative patterns in the book, the EPP project- which was the reason I purchased the book to make- does not include the templates needed to actually make the pattern. There is a note to go to her website to purchase templates. So annoying when this happens. Just add the templates on a page for me to copy like other quilt books do so that the pattern is complete!

I find this book inspiring; it's full of beautiful photos, unique ideas and detailed, clear instructions. I first read about it on social media and decided to first check it out from the public library. It quickly became a "must own" book. I ordered it right away so I would have it before I had to return the borrowed copy to the library. :)

I have a bunch of quilting books, but this is the first one that I've actually read, cover-to-cover. Excellent! So many wonderful ideas for using non-conventional fabrics and other vintage items to make quilts extra special. It's beautifully illustrated and very inspiring. Great book! My daughter also picked it up and couldn't put it down. Ten stars from our family!

This is such a pretty book...wonderful photographs that show exactly what the finished design will look like...I'm a newer quilter and some books can be very intimidating. Wise Craft Quilts has such a variety, I feel like I can definitely learn some new techniques and improve both my quilting and design skills.

I am a novice quilter, but with Blair’s descriptions and photos — I was able to make several of her designs. Simple language, but projects rich in history and love of textiles. This is a great book for anyone interested in making quilts.

I have been enjoying this book, this is an actual book, I have been buying more and more books through my Kindle reader. I have quilt tops prepared, it never occurred to me I could tie them and that would be OK!

What a fabulous book! I love sewing & quilting but especially using fabrics that I've salvaged from charity shops etc! This book supports this ideal for me. I've had it over a month now & enjoy how Blair Stocker explains her thoughts & methods for making each quilt within the book. I've just ordered one of her previous books 🤗
