Bought these as a gift for my grandson who is going into culinary like his mother, who is a chef. These are very sharp knives as she actually cut herself just barely touching the edge as she was trying to place them in the case that comes with the set. So yes, very sharp. She does state that the case is somewhat flimsy and not big enough as she could not close the case trying to fit the set inside it, so she will be looking for a better case to contain the set. But she does give the knives a 5 star rating for their quality and beautiful design, the gloves are a good large size and well made. Great purchase for the price.

I have had these knives for a month now and, WOW they are amazing! They are well built and stay sharp. When I am done using them for the day I hand wash and dry them run the ones I use across the sharpener and put them back in the case. As far as the knives are concerned I couldn’t be happier, the roll they come in is cheap and with as sharp as they are they cut through it pretty easily on accident. I will be buying a nice leather roll for them to keep them in good condition. That being said, I am buying these knives as Christmas presents this year for all of my kids.

I don’t think you can find better knives for the price. I was completely surprised by the quality of these. They feel nice in the hand, they are super sharp, they look great, very durable. Not overly thick so they don’t break through veggies instead of cutting. I definitely recommend. My one piece of advice is to wash and dry immediately after use. I haven’t had any problems after about a month now, but after reading some reviews some people mention rust. I have a giant collection of knives ranging in price from $10 to $400, and I wash and dry all immediately after use so no big issue for me.

These knives have been really great! We've had them for a few months now and they are still as sharp as when we get them. Used a few bandaids when we first started using them just make sure to be careful when handling. Overall, really great knives!!

The wood block is cracked. Ordered a replacement and never recieved. The knives are nice

Wow are these sharp!Have knives and got tired of battling them for the food prep cuts and BBQs.I saw others online and they were 150 to 350 per knife. Wanted a good knife without needing a loan officer.Gotnthese in and also ordered a magnetic block. The set comes with a great bag for travel but in house the block is better.I haven't used all knives yet but each has razor sharp edges. The ones I have used cut through meat like I a box knife will through newspaper.If you want quality knife without ridiculous prices I would go the route

I can attest to the sharpness, I cut my finger wide open just un-packaging them. Beautiful knives. The carrying sleeve is garbage at best. The knives themselves cut through the straps and pockets when u roll them up. They need to make a knife block for these
