Big Man on Campus: Fresh Gay Erotica Paperback – Student Calendar, September 17, 2013

Like any good anthology, it is a "mixed bag" of offerings. There is something there to appeal to anyone who might be searching for gay erotica. Some of the stories are really good and some aren't. Most have plots and characters with whom one can identify. But not all of the stories fit my definition of erotica.

A few of the stories were outstanding but as a whole group was very average . Would not recommend the book

Good short erotic stories.

Loved the book!

Of all Cleis Press anthologies I've read, I can't say that this one was my favorite. My main problem with the anthology overall was that the majority of the stories was heavy on sex scenes but not enough on plot/story. I wish there could've been more racial diversity and more physical variety in the types of characters explored. Yes, there was some of it, but not as much as I would've liked. More often than not it was another hot, blonde-haired, buff-bodied, hung-dicked jock story after another. I did appreciate though how there was a variety of sports centered on Big Man on Campus, like swimming, wrestling, basketball, and football. It gives the anthology a little bit of something for everyone in that respect. I just can't say though that I truly enjoyed this anthology. It had a lot in heat but not enough in soul for me. Maybe that was the point, but it left me more annoyed and turned off than hot and bothered.

Why stop at one? Also, in real life Professors are discouraged from ravaging the puckered love chutes of their students. Thank goodness for fiction.

Big Man on Campus has pages and pages of what happens behind closed doors and in the darkest corners of college campuses where youth, vigor, hard bodies and endless passion find a way to let off a little steam. I loved every word!
