Dec'22: I was pleasantly surprised by the *freshness* and thus the taste. This ginger is for "ginger-lovers" and those who really like robust taste with a ZING to their ginger! Has a bit of "spicyness" to it, more than I've experienced with other ginger powders before probably because they weren't this fresh. But the only ingredient is ginger it says and NOTHING like your typical "grocery store" powder that can be years-old in storage having lost taste.Use more sparingly at first not to overwhelm your recipe to see what's right for you.Now I'm using it for everything from oriental cooking and soups to curry to ? ....love it and would buy again

These reviews are all mixed together- too bad as it is kind of hard to figure out if anyone likes the onion powder. I went ahead with purchasing it, so I can say.. Oh my.. yes. This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for- a strong, pungent, tasty onion powder. I have had way too many, even organic that barely provide any flavor. Once you have a good onion powder it is so disappointing to have anything else. My last container from another company was good, and we used it up so quickly. I wasn't going to be back to that store in awhile and I knew I had to order some soon rather than do without. I decided to try this brand. I think I am biased toward Indian spices, and so I hoped that this onion powder would be really good. IT IS!! It is the best I have had yet!! It is well packaged- has a freshness/safety seal- I opened it up immediately upon arrival and the aroma was just gorgeous smelling. I took a little out to try, and was absolutely delighted on how much the flavor lit up my taste buds. As many seasonings I like to use, I go through a lot of onion powder. Something about a good onion powder is just so versatile and adds a special flavor. MMMmMmmMmMm.I purchased this in July 2019, with a best by date of January 2021. Plenty of time-- I'll likely have it used up within 6 months. or by end of week, haha

Just what I was wanting. Love it...

Nothing wrong with the product. Just not very flavorful.

The photo displayed shows 1.25 Lbs, but the product is actually 0.5 Lbs.This is false advertising and as a result I paid 5 dollars extra for this, since other brands on Amazon are a way better deal.And now I've found two new problems:1. The nutrition label says 0 grams, and 0% for everything. This is suspicious.2. The product tastes like dirt, and has a strange, silky, tasteless, dirt-like texture in the mouth. This is also very suspicious (I've tried amla from 2 other brands before and it's nothing like this).Essentially I just paid 15 dollars for what may very well be dirt, and cannot return it. Very conflicted now because I'm on a budget and do not feel comfortable consuming any of this supposed "amla." It may not be responsible of me to do so.Do yourself a big favor and look for other brands.

I love Masala chai but at 13 pounds + for a quarter kilo I was a bit disappointed (understatement) - although it was not a ground version like others have said and, to be fair, was very nice. I make my own now (just done a kilo this evening) look online for the ingredients and go to a place you can buy them and put them in a bag (I use a sturdy paper bag) and smash away with a roller or hammer! You might find buying kardimon seeds more economical than pods. I can get around 5 times the amount for the same price and spices are not so available where I live. Hope this helps. Sorry only one star because of the price :(

I purchased this to use for growing. It is the best seed to use to grow. 95 % seeds sprouted compared to 60% locally purchased seed.I'll send pics when it has grown fully
