Nebo Redline BLAST 1400 lumens LED flashlight 6542 with 6 Nebo AA batteries and EdisonBright USB powered reading light

I've finally found THE ONE. After purchasing more than a few flashlights and headlights and was about to settle for less than what I was looking for, I took a chance on the Nebo Blast and was very impressed with its overall characteristics and performance. I was so impressed with the intensity of the light this unit throws out, I actually gathered up a few of my older flashlights that were similar in size and cost and did a direct comparison.This Redline Blast blew them away in the amount of light it produces and the overall "feel" I got from holding it in my hand and using it in the field.It may be heavier than its competition, what with its use of six AA's, but for me, the extra weight was more than worth it in all other ways. I rate this flashlight highly in form, fit and function.I will definitely purchase this particular unit again should the need arise and have no qualms of recommending this model to friends and family.I will be using this Nebo Blast quite often in the ship building and heavy equipment maint/repair business and will update this review as necessary.

this gives a lot of light! In a power outage it could be used as a lamp!

I have used the Nebo Redline Blast for about a month now, and I am quite pleased. I have several Nebo flashlights, and I have yet to be disappointed. The light is easy to use, and quite affordable. I have not used it for any extended periods of time, so I have yet to change the batteries. It is compact enough to be easy to keep with me on the job, and easily lights up large areas at our fuel depot.

I've had the flashlight for a solid 7 months now and have found a solid set of rechargeable batteries to keep this bad boy bright all the time. I'm finally deciding to write this review after running it over with my 18 wheeler this morning when I forgot it on my catwalk. I didn't think it'd survive the weight but sure enough did not get squished. The build quality is incredible, definitely keeping this one for life.

This flashlight delivers remarkable brightness for a AA powered light. All of the other flashlights in this brightness range use non-standard batteries, which I find inconvenient. The exterior is quite solid, and I believe that it would make an effective self defense tool in the right situation. However, the inside is less impressive. The 6 AAs fit into a thin, flimsy-feeling cartridge that I believe could easily be damaged if not handled with care. The Nebo Twist has a much more satisfactory solution (granted that light uses 4 AAs instead of 6. Also, I will further note that for a tac-light, this is a bit bulky. The body is thick enough, that unless you have fairly large hands, you my have trouble finding a comfortable grip that allows you to easily reach the tail-cap button at the same time. It is fine though for camping or other outdoors activities that may require a lot of light in a small rugged package.

Being that I refuse to pay crazy amounts of $ for a flashlight, I tend to shop the middle of the road type of light. Its better than all those cheap and wanna be middle flashlights, brightness is decent and so is battery life. Just know that its not close to the top of the line brands. Whats funny is that i had purchased one that looks very similar to it at a name brand store and that one had a very poor light output, also a coworker had a similar light by a different name and also wasn't as bright. Its decent and bulky but gets the job done.

Turn night into day. Used it in day light to inspect an engine bay, better than I expected. Not at all like the recently advertised flash lights. This product is solidly built and has an unconventional lighting element. This light will outlive me.This light will light your way in any emergency and every situation in day or night.
