BerkleyTrilene® Sensation, Clear, 8lb | 3.6kg, Monofilament Fishing Line, Suitable for Freshwater Environments

I have been fishing for 40 years, this is the worst line I have used. It tangles way to easily, even when spooling on the reel i noticed it was tangling but I continued. After 2nd cast the line was knitted around the base of the reel and this happened on 3 separate rods/reels with 3 different people. Returning and buying the smooth casting line instead, that line is rock solid.

Line broke (6 lb test) twice controlling fish (2 lb Smallies) at my side while river wading. Lost the fish, the lures and the fish, I will presume, lost their lives in the end. The previous day I had a good strike on a topwater lure, the line immediately snapped, but the lure popped to the surface and I recovered it. The line had broken about 1/8 inch above the knot. I noticed that the line seemed to have nicks and abrasions. I had the line on a reel dedicated to topwater baits. What could abrade it - water? Wind? Is the river water heavily mineralized hard water? I have never had this issue with any Berkley line - have used XT Green for decades - even 4 lb line never broke like that on me. Most brittle line ever....I'm close to cursing here, I have to stop. I feel badly for those fish. Do not ever buy this crappy line.

I have went to this after years of using 30lb 832 braid. Capt. Mickey on the Outdoor show kept talking about it so i contacted him and got the low down. I have changed all my reels to this now...

Best mono hands down. Every EyE pictured was caught on 4lb. Even the 9 &10lbers. Fluorescent orange sensation is a magic mono, low stretch, thin diameter, awesome knot strength. The negative reviews above about line failure is due to user inexperience. My 3 and 7yr old grandsons catch more EyEz on this line than most adults. Proof is in the pics, could post 50 more but you get the idea. Buy with confidence, I do-

I was fishing for crappie, and caught this ten pound plus bass on 8lb test.

Use 10# green. Almost impossible to see. Catching more finicky walleye with it. Strong enough to land bigger fish. I have tried many lines and have switched to this exclusively for walleye now.

This is the best line I ever used for cappie fishing! Super sensitive line will always use it from here on out!!!!

This is very visible and durable line. I only use Trilene.
