Love this cello music! Love Yo Yo Ma and John Williams. I can't play these YET,lol seriously the changing clefs alone makes my head hurt. Includes piano musicListen to it when you can Sayuri's Theme my fav. Even if your not advanced enough to play,have hope i do 🌸

3 pieces from the 'memoirs of a geisha' soundtrack. This is definitely not for the beginner cellist! I would consider myself only an intermediate player and I found this really challenging to play. It switches between bass, tenor and treble clef (sometimes in the same bar) which is difficult for someone without a lot of experience to get their head around!! However the pieces are really stunning (or rather, they will be when I learn how to play them properly) and I am really looking forward to playing in duet with the piano. The pieces also work as standalone pieces, without the accompaniment.For the piano piece - although admittedly I have been playing since I was 8 (a loooonnng time ago now!!) the piano pieces seem to be not quite as challenging as the cello and I'm not just saying that because I am more comfortable on the piano. I would think this would be about 5th or 6th grade level piano (unfortunately I haven't done any formal exams on the cello to be able to compare it to any level there).Would definitely recommend as I think overall it is a beautiful piece of music.

I should have been more careful when I bought this. I didn't notice that there were only 3 pieces and I was disappointed because it didn't include the piece that I wanted to learn, the Chairman's Waltz.
