No Salt Added Bread

Good taste and only 5mg of sodium per slice! Perfect for super picky hubby who has the most sensitive tastebuds. This bread changed our lives since he has to now eat low sodium. He will not eat a meal that does not have bread! Compare over 100mg per slice vs 5mg - it's a no brainer!

Upon first spotting this bread at my local health food store, I was tempted to try it, yet skeptical that it would be tasty, given my past experience with "no salt added" loaves. Until recently, the only low sodium bread that I had found really delicious were the "no salt added" pitettes made by Toufayan. But ever in search of a true low-to-no sodium sliced bread that genuinely tasted good, I decided to give Angelica Bakehouse's rendition a whirl...and I wound up very glad that I did. It's a hearty bread with more than enough natural flavor to compensate for the absence of salt. As a result, I now have TWO no salt added breads from which to choose. If I were to make any suggestions for improvement with Angelic Bakehouse's offering, it would be to make it with entirely organic ingredients — which no doubt would raise the price, but to me at least, would be worth it. However, even without going the organic route, i will stick with this bread as long as it's made.

Good taste considering it is salt free. I have ordered several times now; it always arrives quickly and is fresh. A bit pricey, but all salt-free foods seem to be overpriced.

The only objection I have is the lack of a "sell by date" or a "use by date" .... I thought that was an FDA requirement??? I had ordered 2 loaves and because of the lack of dates, I stuck one in the freezer and the other is on the kitchen counter to use and as an experiment as to when it will no longer be edible.

This bakery truly cares about & takes pride in its products. I bake A LOT of bread, but sometimes you just want to toast up a pre-sliced piece of healthfulness; this product totally satisfies that craving. It’s exactly as described, delicious toasted & slathered with whatever you choose…& bonus points for how carefully & lovingly it’s packaged! I store it in the freezer, placing two slices in individual baggies, all inside the bread sleeve; easy-peasy portioning! I usually find this bread at Whole Foods; how great to find it as a two-pack on Amazon, shipped quickly from the bakery & packaged perfectly. I definitely will re-order!

I like the taste, texture etc for this product but for the order to take almost a week to arrive is unacceptable. Let’s face it, bread is best when it’s freshly baked. For this reason, I will probably not reorder unless this issue is resolved. I need to keep my sodium level low so most bread doesn’t work for me.

Bread taste is good. But I noticed they reduced the size significantly, almost 20% or more. Luckily, I had a couple slices left from my last order. Please see images - side by side and one on top of another. This is clearly cheating. It would be fine if you want to increase the price, but reducing the size without letting people know is bad. Plus the nutrition info per slice remained the same - 90 calories, 5 mg sodium etc. How is that possible when the size of the slice has reduce by at least 20%? Again, I understand inflation, so be forthcoming and increase the price, but don't cheat us. Beware of this company.

I love this bread. I can't find it in my local stores so I'm happy I can order it via Amazon. It's my favorite bread for any sort of nut butter and jelly or jam sandwiches. It's also smazing for BLTs (yum). It has an amazingly long shelf life. I hate having to freeze bread or store it in the fridge, I've always detested bread that'sbeen in a fridge or freezer. This bread stays fresh in my pantry for so much longer than any other bread that I think it's a rather economical buy despite how pricey it seems because I'm not having to toss out bread that's moldy or stale like I had to with other types of bread that sre less expensive. This bread is very hearty and filling without being super dense. I love it. It arrives very nicely boxed and every order I have received has been nice and fresh. Thus far I'm a big fan!
