Got this for peace of mind and wouldn’t trade it. Would love it the battery life was longer when recording longer sequences. So far I think it works fine. Love the ring community it comes with that’s a nice surprise to know what’s going around within a certain vicinity. I couldn’t give it a 4.5 because of the battery but overall product gets it done. Maybe best to get a second battery

Easy to use, but needs to be able to adjust
I got this for our apartment since it kept the video doorbell secure (and theft resistant), but our door doesn't allow the bar to go through on the side of the door as it's supposed to. It fits at the top, but leaves the video sideways and harder to reach. I think this would be a lot more user-friendly if it could rotate for either door side or top mounting and offered a longer bar if mounted from the top. Otherwise, it seems great. I'm kind of sorry I have to return it.

My daughter and I just moved into another apt and my last one I had to let people in the building this new one we are wide open, I was nervous about getting my packages stolen more so the ring door bell taken this item def does what it’s suppose to. It was very easy to install and I tried to take my ring off my door and this product would not move. I def recommend this and I’ll probably buy it again for my parents

Great for those who rent or have no way of hooking up. Solid material. Not flimsy junk.

Needs to be adjustable
This bracket is awesome. However, for those who have screen doors/security doors, 1/4 of the vision is blocked. The bracket needs to be adjustable in length to accommodate for this. Then it would be 5 stars.

case is all plastic only the strap that goes around the door is metal.

Easy peasy
I just bought a Ring doorbell (2020) and since I live in an apartment, I bought this doorbell mount and it works perfectly. The Ring slipped right in and I added it to my door and that was it. I like that it has the open sides for the motion detector and it hasn't prevented anything from getting recorded. Highly recommend.
