We purchased it by chance. Tired of a number of broken and jammed umbrellas I was searching for a sturdy one that is made in India. Bought the Uncle John's after reading good reviews. Shocked to see a long tough card board packet. Realized that the umbrella wasn't foldable. But it turned out to be a good choice. Excellent quality ! It can actually protect you from heavy rain. It has proved to be useful even in Delhi as it is raining a lot this year. My husband loves to carry it and keeps it in his car. Not suitable for me as I like a handy one.
