1340 Hardware Jig

We bought this hardware jig to guide in installing handles to cabinet doors. It was easy to adjust and provided accurate measurements and placement for both handles. Because it is reversible, placement is accurate. From videos we have watched, it seems that this jig makes it even easier to place knobs or pulls on drawers, which wasn't our application at this time. The only negative for doing the handles is that it did slip a bit and needed a firm grip to keep it aligned. Maybe next time, we will try to find a way to clamp it or secure it better. They still came out perfectly, but just wanted to add that for someone who may try this jig. Good value for the money.

Worked perfectly!! This was exactly what we needed for installing our new cabinet handles. Made it super easy to make sure everything was even and well placed. It was very sturdy and once you tighten it there is no movement! Would highly recommend this for anyone who has a cabinetry project.

This has been exactly what I was looking for I went on my search for this item. It serves its purpose and gets those handles aligned pretty well. No need to go out and drop more money. This item does exactly what you needed to do. It’s pretty well-made, but I would prefer if it was made out of all metal and no plastic, but beggars can’t be choosers. So for the value it’s excellent. This is a great jig. It makes hardware installation a breeze. I used it to put handles on all the cabinets and drawers in my shop and made the process short and easy. It is broad enough to use with wide handles. The set screws hold well and it feels like it will hold up under hard use. I have a friend who is a professional cabinet maker and he uses the same one. The only downside for me is that it is cumbersome to store. If you want t to keep all the pieces together it takes up a lot of room. Overall, a great product.

This jig is the easiest one I have ever used and I have been doing this for forty years. I have been debating about purchasing another jig which costs just under $300.. I figured that a jig costing less than $40 would have limitations but I was wrong. Very easy to reset if you have different pulls and knobs on the same job as well as different height drawers.

Worked perfectly. Used it for 8 drawers in the new kitchen.

I used this product to drill holes for our cabinet hardware because apparently our home builder can build a house but can’t install a drawer pull. This jig made it so easy to install. Just set your measurement and drill your hole.
