Nice steel case, giving accurate readings

I got this to cover an unsightly mess on my wall. Not sure how accurate it is, although there is a manual adjustment at the back. But as long as it’s roughly correct I’m happy.

The instructions warn that recalibration will be needed; I recalibrated my thermometer twice - it is easy to do; thereafter, the thermometer gave accurate readings and proved sensitive to the wide variations of temperature and humidity which have characterised this summer in southern England. I've given four stars for accuracy only because I have no other thermometer against which to compare this one precisely. The display is exceptionally clear, making the thermometer easy to read from indoors. Rain has not, so far affected it; I can't yet judge how it will respond to cold. The design could be improved by adding brackets which would allow one to screw the thermometer to a wooden fence; the design requires one to hang the thermometer on a single screw-head, making it vulnerable, I should imagine, to high winds. The thermometer, which was reasonably priced, arrived promptly and in good condition; I'd gladly buy it again.

Despite being made of very lightweight, modern materials, this thermometer looks very traditional. Including the frame, it is 8 inches in diameter & perfect for looking at as you go in or out of the front door. I checked it against a conventional thermometer & it is giving the correct temperature.

Looks good in my garden. It's so clear and very accurate. I can read it on one of my outdoor cameras, so I know the temp outside from anywhere on my phone.It's early days yet, only had it a week, so time will tell on it's lifespan. It seems well made though.Only minor dislike is I only talk in centigrade really, so zero degrees being at the very top (not 2 minutes to 12) would be nice. A barometer as well as a hydrometer would really finish the job off.Steve Jones

This is advertised as suitable for outdoor. We had it up on the wall for a couple of days and despite no rain, the condensation built up inside the clock. Not fit for purpose and looks a bit plasticky as well. Had to send it back as didn’t anticipate a great longevity of this product.

This is for the silver thermometerWanted to get this for my dad who has deteriorating eye sight due to amd, the figures are lovely and large and bold for him to see. The only down side is the glare on the covering from light, but I don’t think that can be helped hugely.
