Double Dark Cocoa Powder Blend, Perfect for Baking, 14oz

I’ve struggled to make a chocolate frosting for years that wasn’t blah and decided to try this cocoa powder to see if it made a difference. Oh my goodness gracious, did it make a difference! The flavor, the color, the texture. Everything was so so much better thanks to this cocoa powder. It’s so much better than the crappy basic cocoa powder I had been using and I got rave reviews from my family about how good my chocolate frosting was at a recent birthday. I highly recommend it and I will be repurchasing in the future

Minimal ingredients from a trusted brand! The texture is smooth just as you'd expect, and smells divine :) I made homemade Oreo Cookies with this cocoa, and they tasted like the real deal! Nice and dark too, just like the packaged ones, only 100% healthier.

Came with less cocoa than I was expecting for the price, but I suppose that’s what happens when you shop quality like King Arthur. And King Arthur is definitely quality! This cocoa powder is rich, deep in flavor, and indeed, dark in color. It made some very dark-colored muffins. Its taste is difficult to describe. I was, for some reason, expecting it to be more “dark chocolate-y” than other cocoa powders, which it wasn’t really, to my dismay. Perhaps it is less acidic in taste? It was missing a bit of the bitter “bite” that I love in my dark chocolate. But I can’t fault the product for my error in expectation. So, overall, not what I was expecting, and perhaps not what I will buy next time (only because I’m searching for that dark chocolate flavor), but a great product nevertheless! And I’m definitely still loving the chocolate baked goods I’m churning out with this stuff.

First off if you are a baker and not familiar with King Arthur let you brag about them. They are the only brand that I use for flour because they never bleach it. They have a wide variety of flour thst works beautifully. I've used all of their flour types from AP to GF. This Double Dark Cocoa Powder was the same lovely quality that you can expect with anything King Arthur. I used the dark cocoa powder to make brownies from Sally's Baking 101 Cookbook which is also fabulous if you love to bake. The dark cacoa powder gives you almost midnight dark brownies that are rich and decadent. They have that perfect gooey texture we all know and love for brownies. I also used the brownie recipe from the Elements of baking to make a gluten free version of brownies which were also heavenlu. King Arthur also has fabulous cookbooks as well. My hands down favorite cookbook is Bread Illistrated.

It has a rich, delicious chocolate flavor. I used it for cupcakes and brownies. I think they were the best brownies I've had. 😋 The price was the same as the King Arthur website, but I didn't have to pay shipping which made it a great deal.

This is a good cocoa powder however Valrhona imo is better tasting for chocolate cake.

The BEST!!!!! This cocoa is rich, chocolatey and easy to scoop out. Of course, King Arthur has been a trusted brand for many years......you can trust this product for great taste.

My second purchase of this brand of dark cocoa, i really like the flavor. I had tried another brand to save a little money, wasn’t near as good, so i tossed it and bought this brand again. Worth it! I add to vanilla yogurt and I’ve used to bake brownies, it’s just really delicious.

This really enhances the flavour of chocolate cakes I make!

Good product with good flavour. If you, like me, do not live in a big city, (and therefore have no access to specialist culinary shops), then this dark chocolate brought online is a good solution.
