Doesn't quite close properly. Otherwise great.

Just got it today, it works really well and keeps me cool. I'm not sure how long it will last but it seems sturdy enough to last if treated right. It is a little see through but I don't mine, it is great for it's price and the colors are brighter than expected.

I have many sisters in my congregation that are in the menopausal age, and these are lifesavers when the dreaded flash arrives. They give off the right amount of air. Very lovely. I can't speak to longevity, but it seems sturdy enough if you take care of it. Don't expect the tassels to last. They are cheap and fall off.

I bought this to help me with hot flashes, especially when I'm out and about. It's very lovely and feminine looking. The pierced bamboo ribs are a beautiful touch. I get lots of compliments on it (and people leaning in to take advantage of my fanning!), and lots of laughs when I tell them it's my Menopause Mitigation Device. Only minus is the tassel started coming apart within a few weeks, but keeping it in my purse probably contributed. It mostly got in the way anyhow.Update: This is delicate and will not last forever with frequent use so I removed a star. But I still liked it enough to buy another.

Great for moving air and keeping a bit cooler. The tassel came off shortly after I started using it. Not a big deal, but worth noting. The fan does not close easily, you need to align the folders to get it to folder up properly. Material is good, picture on the fan cute.
