Great belt, weird sizing
UPDATE NOVEMBER 29/2023: I'm sticking with everything I said in my original review (below), and I like this belt so much I ordered a second belt as a "backup". ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a great belt, but the sizing is strange. i first ordered a small based on some of the comments. I'm a 36" waist and the belt tip didn't reach the buckle, so I returned it and ordered a medium, and it goes through the buckle leaving about an 8" "tail" to deal with. But I like the belt so much, I bought a "keeper" to keep the tail end close to the belt and I'm good with that and it actually looks good. Plus, the extra length allows me to carry things inside the waistband. Okay, on with the belt. First of all I got the Forage color; I think that color along with the buckle make this an outstanding looking belt - by far the best-looking web belt I have (out of about 8, mostly name brands). The top criteria I have for a belt is that it should stay where it is set. This belt excels at that. Some have complained about the difficulty of adjusting the belt, but as one reviewer pointed out, if you haven't dealt with tactical or climbing gear, I can see where that could be a problem. It is a little more difficult to adjust, but you only do that once a day! Bottom Line: I've only had it for 2 days, but I love it!

Amazing
I’ve worn this belt every single day for 2.5 years and this thing works as good as it did new. Hands down the best belt you can get. They are stiff at first but get easier over time. Get one!

Nice-looking well-made belt
I bought this belt as a somewhat dressy alternative to my everyday web belt. It looks nice enough to wear to work or an evening dinner party with semi-dress pants, and holds up those pants well. The pull-tight buckle requires some hand strength to fully tighten, but it's still very doable.

Good but not great.
The belt is Arc'teryx quality. The belt tip or belt end really sets this belt apart from other webbing belts. The buckle holds the webbing secure no slipping or adjusting throughout the day. What I don't like is what makes the good, because of the finished belt tip it makes it hard to pull through the buckle. The webbing is stiff and the belt end may stick out if your pants belt loop is not in the right spot (if you go mostly untucked this should not be a problem). The belt is adjusted more by pushing the webbing through the buckle not by pulling and this makes it a little more difficult to adjust. The finished belt is what made me purchase this belt, no strange looking melted webbing belt tip.

Looks premium, feels indestructible — functions like a medieval device
From Arc’teryx, you expect premium quality and thoughtful design. What you get with the Conveyor Belt 38 is… a brutally stiff, overly rigid strap that feels like it could tow a truck — but good luck adjusting it around your waist. Tightening or loosening it is a chore, and the buckle mechanism is — let’s be honest — one of the most unintuitive designs ever conceived. It’s like someone engineered this thing to challenge your patience.

Durable belt, a bit stiff.
High-quality product, typical of Arc'teryx. The belt works fine but you have play with it a bit to cinch it. The belt is stiff and likely to remain so over it's life. This is my second one. My older belt so no real signs of wear and is bit less stiff but still I find you need to wiggle it a bit when cinching to get the snugness that I want. Therefore 3 stars. Note, I also like these better than other casual or hiking belts that stretch. I find stretch belts tend to loosen a bit over the course of the day. These belts won't do that. Stretch belts also have the advantage in that usually don't have metal and thus sail right through TSA security. TSA has caught these belts, a minor nuisance. In any case, with these Arc'teryx belts, you definitely won't wear it out, that's for sure.

Good belt
I think a lot of people dislike this belt because they are not used to a slide buckle style of belt. The belt has to be fed through the buckle before tighten it once it has passed through the buckle which its easier by tilting 45° the buckle, it will slide through. Then you cut the slack from one side and pull from the other end. The tension is constant so it wont loosen up. If you ever used any outdoor equipment or have military (tactical) exp or gear it will make sense. Im guessing they did the end of the belt slightly thicker in case you use it for something else. It wont slide loose without purposely unfeeding the belt. It is sturdy but is not a sling belt. Pretty sturdy to hold multitools, knives, leatherman raptor, wouldn't doubt a gun too but i do not own one to determine if there is any deformation in the canvas but highly doubt it since it is very solid knit.

Quality Really Poor for the Price
I've two Arcteryx identical size belts and I was looking forward to have different color style as well. What a surprise... quality changed so much that it's not worth it $40 or so. Exactly issue is that belt end is too wide to go through belt buckle, it's a real struggle, plus buckle design is too narrow (when comparing to mine, see pic.) for belt to go through, and it takes lots of force to make it go through. I'm returning it.
