To the maker of this item, thank you so much for having something this simple available at such a good price too! I know I sound a little too excited, but there's a reason for that. I had encountered an emergency to where I had to take off the original drain stopper for my tub, so I was searching for the best item that could help me protect the drain of my bath tub. This is the item that saved it. So far, I've seen this drain catch just about everything that would have otherwise gone down the drain and clog it, especially hair. I've had this for a few months now, so I can definitely say this will help make sure there are no clogs. As for my previous statement of catching everything, that does also mean you'll be able to gather what it did catch, and clean it up with ease. I haven't had any problem with this so far. The other reason I suggest getting this item is this is a good price for 2 of these guards. It never hurts to have a spare, that's what I think anyway.

Works well, catches hair and ease of installation

These are well made and fit the US size drain cover perfectly. I am in an apartment and mine is all rusted out. I had the maintenance man come to swap it out for a new one but his tool woudn't get it out. Before he destroyed my tub, I asked him to stop and I found this. It looks good but the small holes in the mesh filter obstruct the water too much to allow fast draining. I end up standing in a few incges of water after showering a while. It came in a 2 pack so maybe I will try and modify it and make it drain better. All drains have just 2 cross bar in them to stop big items from going down the drain but this screen is too much.

I used to have just rubber "suction" hair catchers and those were so irritating to use- well not because of me but because I share the bathroom with my sibling and they never bother being considerate w/ cleaning it pushing it back over the drain (long story short, rubber, flat hair catchers are a waste).The drain would be FILLED w/ hair and it was so irritating having to be the one of constantly clean up after someone so getting this product was such a stress saver.I still clean up after my sibling but I can take a shower knowing I don't have to stop in the middle of it just to clean the drain so I don't have a foot bath w/ my shower.THIS product is super light. It honestly feels like I am hold onto a few coins. Since it is small (obviously), it can fill up easily. But it is so easy to clean out. My family uses random strands of wires and bends it to create a hook and it does the job. I need to put my fingers directly on the hair to remove it. Just a quick scoop and boom, doesn't even take 5 seconds to clean. I also don't have an issue with it moving around. Since is makes a bowl shape, it stays pretty firm.Overall, 10/10 purchase. I was running to my porch when I seen it was delivered. I will be taking them BOTH once I move out, out of pettiness.
