Sturdy design and perfect for smashed burgers
Excellent quality and very sturdy/stiff shaft compared to others that easily bend during use. Retains original shape

Broken Handle After 7 Months
Updated: Great customer service raised this rating from 1 to 5 stars. I contacted Sasquash via email, and received an apology about the defect from Mr. Mull, who advised me he’d send a replacement to my home. To my delight and surprise, he sent the Burger Master Kit that Includes: Bigfoot Burger Press, Mammoth Wide Mouth Spatula, 9" Melting Cheese Dome, and (2) One-Handed Squirt Bottles. That, friends, is a great way to do business, and ensures a customer for life. I bought this in February. It worked great. No complaints. Then, yesterday, the handle snapped off. I contacted Amazon, and they said the return window has passed. They claim you can “Use it for years to create gourmet burgers and sliders, but use caution due to its extensive power”. I guess “years” means 7 months. I’ve contacted the manufacturer. I’ll update once/if I hear from them. Until then, I’m very disappointed.

Accurately named
It's everything you want in a smash burger spatula: big, heavy, sharp-edged and rugged. You'll actually feel the hair growing on your chest as soon as you pick it up.

Heavy, stiff spatula, good for limited uses
This is a good spatula for larger items that a long spatula may not be sufficent, such as making smash-burgers or flipping larger pancakes. It is quite heavy, which is neither a pro or a con. it's also too big, in my opinion, to do a good job scraping the griddle. I prefer a smaller one that I can get more downward force on the front edge with. I think having one is a good thing once one figures out the best uses for it based on

Great gift idea!
These are exactly as pictured/described. They seem to be well-made, and I gave them as gifts. Everyone I gave them to, said they loved them.

Bent and handle broke on first use
My very first time I used it, the handle started bending. I was worried. Then as I moved onto my second party, it bent more , then more and more until the handle just became inverted. I started seeing the flange hook and … game over. I finished my last burgers as non smash burgers using this like a big spoon. I can’t believe this “heavy duty” thing is so much weaker than even the wobbly pancake spatulas I used for 10 years. The flat part is really heavy duty, the the important part that takes all the pressure when you go to press down the burger is a joke. Why would this company spend so much money engineering an industrial grade metal sheet, then just slip on a plastic handle with a slit cut out? I feel like it’s a $20 bottom with a $1 handle? If they had just spent like $2 more on the hilt, they have a real solid product. Instead, this thing is a piece of garbage. So sad as I had high hopes.
