The media could not be loaded. I bought this hose to clear a drain, a soak away, that is 100 years old. This is not a wide diameter pipe, smaller by today’s standard yet wider than the type used for say kitchen/bathroom services. We have had workmen in this year and waste sludge had been poured down it despite me asking them not to.The drain has a deep trap so I needed something that would be able to get down and over the trap. It did require some patience and fiddling to get this hose to feed in to the pipe, the first couple of attempts did cause the pipe to kink and I wasn’t sure this was going to work, I wouldn’t attempt this with a smaller diameter pipe that required getting over a trap, but to my surprise it cleared whatever was causing a blockage.I managed to feed the hose in 3 metres (I don’t know how long the drain pipe runs before it reaches the soakaway but it can not be to much further otherwise it will be at the pavement) the Karcher started to pulse rather than have a continuous blast but maybe that did me a favour, as I started to retract the hose with the pressure on the drain cleared. I have poured a few buckets of water down the drain and it took the water away well.For the cost it worked better than I hoped, and I have it to hand if a when I need it again. The only reason I have given this 4 stars is because the pipe kinked quite easily so now has a weak point.

Bought the 10m version to clear the old cast iron pipe from a slow draining kitchen sink. Over the years a lot of internal corrosion had allowed debris to build up in the pipe. This amazing little item removed all the loose rust along with lots of gunk and the sink is draining perfectly now. As one of the other reviewers said, it’s most effective if you keep pulling the hose almost out to help flush the debris, and then allowing it to propel itself back in again for another go. I have a Work Zone pressure washer from Aldi and the Lavor fitting is an exact match. The hose is a little bit stiff but if you uncoil it in a straight line first it will make things easier for you. Thoroughly recommend this item!

I never write reviews but this is worth comment. 8.5m of 4 inch drain. Fat berg. Rodding from kitchen out.Don’t force it let it do the work. Cover the drain access point with a towel it will splash back. If it doesn’t get through at first just persevere but DONT FORCE IT!If the blockage is close to the access point, you can gauge this from how quickly water builds up or a more forceful jet sound, then rotate hose from left to right effectively cutting around the edge of the obstruction. Let it go through beyond the obstruction and again gauge by sound when it dies then slowly pull back and saw through the obstruction point back and forwards.You’ll need to let the hose go as far as you can to the main drain to push out the crud.Took me 20 minutes to clear.Assembly tip… the jet bulb goes in the ‘loose’ end not the end with the long plastic protector cowl, and use the Ptfe tape, use mole grips to hold the shrouded part of the hose and pliers to tighten really hard - this way you can use it in the house and not fear for spray out at the unions. A good piece of kit.

This was a perfect product for what I needed and most importantly if fits Ryobi machines!I bought this to clear a driveway drain outdoors that was stuck solid with mud, stones etc. I thought it would struggle but after a quick bit of assemble it made short work of the problem.I fed it into the drain - you have to push and pull it as it dislodges the blockage.The rear facing jets pull the hose further down the drain making sure it was clear. It was good for the tight corners of the drain too.It is thin enough that you could use it to clear indoor sink or washing machine drains too.All in all 10 out of 10 for this productIf you can unroll the hose for a while before you use it, it will help speed up the job.

This doesn’t work with the K2 pressure washer.Maybe it does work, but without instructions I have no idea.
