Q: Can it be used for prismacolor and polychromos pencil blending?

Yes, I use it with polychromes pencils, and it works great.

Q: How long can you keep this in your brush bucket?

I use 2 brush buckets, and after a painting session I’ll set one aside and after a few days the paint residue will separate from the brush cleaner and then I pour out the cleaner into an other bottle. Doing this I can extend the life of the cleaner and I always have a ckear brush bucket for each session.

Q: Do you have to use soap and water to wash the brushes after using this cleaner?

No, I didn. It works pretty well.

Q: Can chelsea classical studio lavender essence brush cleaners work with acrylic paint?

No, you would not need to use an oil solvent with acrylics. You can use water! You could also try some of the gel mediums used to keep acrylics wet longer. The gel mediums tend to make acrylic paint glaze or become a bit transparent, so you can experiment with layering the glazes for luminosity. Good luck!
