Used this for drilling shelf holes in cabinets I've been building. Certainly simplifies the process, though if you are a serious cabinet maker this is likely too inefficient for your needs. Comes with its own onboard storage for the drill bit, hex wrench, and peg. My only complaint is that the drill bit won't fit in the onboard storage slot with the collar still in place (so you have to remove or at least move the collar back to the position where you'd want it before you use it next). This is a simple design fix they should have done on their end before producing it.

Let's face it, if you own anything Kreg, you trust the product. These guys have so many really well,designed jigs and tools that it's a "no brainer" to purchase any of them, and this little jig is no,exception. Easy to set up and easy to use and of course we'll designed. I did all my shelf pin holes for my garage cabinets using this jig and every shelf fits stable and true.

There is a little bit of slop in the retention pin that can lead to some inaccuracies, but if you're vigilant when using it, it can be avoided. Build quality is good.

Worked like it should. Alignment is awesome. It made quick work of putting in shelf holes.

The Kreg jigs are always top quality. This one was very easy to use and made the bookcase more versatile with adjustable shelves.
