I purchased this along with several other dresses for an event with specific guidelines. Alas, due to practicality, another dress was kept because I know I will wear it often. Darn it all.But I LOVED this dress. It was flattering (even on a middle-aged frame), made me feel pretty but still seemed age-appropriate, was of good quality and fully lined, was surprisingly comfortable (go stretchy fabrics!), and I didn't mind the short sleeves (ladies of a certain age, you know what I'm talking about). The length was just about right - brushing the top of the foot. I would give more stars to this if I could.In short, I saved this on my wish list in the hopes that I will need it for a future occasion. It might make a nice mother of the bride dress for a summer wedding, perhaps? I'm obviously not wedding dress shopping - but if you're looking for a garden wedding dress, I think this would be a really nice (and cost-effective) choice!

To be on the safe side, I ordered two sizes: XL and XXL. The XL is true to size 16-18 and fits perfectly. I'm 5'7" and busty figure on top. with small wedges, the dress just touches the ground. The dress is soft stretchy and not itchy. The slip underneath makes it easy to wear a bra without showing through. The color and detail is giving off Brighton or renaissance vibes, and it's perfect for all occasions.

As a 5'2" gal, I was thrilled to find a dress that landed at just the right length. But for all its charms, there was one major snag: the fit on my curvy figure.Let's start with the good stuff. It moved beautifully, and I could tell it was a piece that would last. The color, too, was a knockout.Now, for the not-so-good. As someone with a 36D bust, the way the dress hit in that area just wasn't flattering. It felt a bit too clingy and didn't quite skim the curves in the way I would have liked. It wasn't necessarily revealing, but it wasn't the confident silhouette I was hoping for.Overall, this dress was a bittersweet experience. The quality and style were fantastic, but the fit on my body type just wasn't quite right. If you're on the straighter side, you might have a different experience, but for us curvier ladies, it's worth trying this one on before committing. You might just need a little extra tailoring to make it a showstopper.Here's the TLDR:Pros: Excellent construction, gorgeous color, flattering length for petites, stretchy lace is a dream.Cons: Clingy fit in the bust area might not be ideal for curvier figures.Verdict: A quality dress with potential, but try it on before you buy to ensure the fit flatters your curves.

This was such a nice dress. It was well made, lined, has a zipper and the fabric was comfortable. It would pack well. The color was pretty close to the photos. I thought it was going work for my post mastectomy flat chest, but it had princess seams on the bust that I couldn't see in the photo. Normally that would have made it flattering, but I need 1920s flapper flat, so I ultimately returned the dress. It was too long if you are less than 5'5 and don't plan on heels.

This dress is so lovely. I found the fit to be true to size. I am large busted. The waist falls right under my bust line, like an empire waistline. There is a see through, decorative seam in between the bust line and at the waist. I would need to wear nude undergarments underneath. I didn’t like this feature. I love the dress, it’s just not flattering on me at all.

Beautiful dress! I got this, and a few other dresses, as options for my daughter's wedding. I ended up going with another dress for the wedding, but liked this one so much I kept it too. It's very comfortable and fits great.

The photo they chose looks like this is a low-cut super stiff dress. Luckily, I depended on other reviewers to see what this dress was really about: It’s light and soft without being fragile and moves nicely. It’s *mostly* pretty conservative. I would wear it to work because the skin showing through the trim at the waist and down the center of the chest is minimal and if you wear a beige bra you really can’t tell. I’m size 16, 36G, 5’9” 235lbs and the XL was perfect. Not to mention I tried on many other dresses and this one was the only one that made me look slimmer, not bigger.
