Universal Clear Shower Door Bottom Sweep with Drip Rail for 3/16" and 1/4" Glass - 35 in Long

Product worked just fine, the delivery fee is almost as much as the product.

My master bathroom has a glass door and over the years, the bottom sweep started coming apart. The strip which keeps the shower water from leaking out to the floor was slowly ripping off. Several times when taking a shower, I'd come out to find my tile floor completely covered in a giant puddle of water due to this sweep failing.Having gone to Lowes & Home Depot (as well as searching online), neither of these so called "hardware stores" had anything remotely similar in their stores. Looking online, Lowes showed nothing while Home Depot did have some in their warehouse. The problem is they didn't have my size.My glass shower door is a 3/16" door. I could find a 3/8" a 1/4" but never a 3/16". Luckily Amazon had it by seller "TechnologyLK". I placed the order (despite having to pay shipping, not Prime Eligible) but was surprised to have it within 2 days of ordering it.Although this sweep isn't the EXACT one that I have, it fit my door nicely and deflects water back into the shower. I've not had any leaks since.The only modification I made to it was to cut it down. The sweep you get is 35" long, but my door is just a couple inches shorter. The sweep is very rigid, so I ended up using a hacksaw to cut it down.Very pleased.

Fits but 2 out of 2 packages / items I received were damaged. Shipping package needs to be in firm container.

This is the only product that I could find that would work on my 7/16" shower door thickness. I tried other product that failed my expectations.

I'm sure the product will work for most shower configurations. I have a frameless glass shower door that closes into a metal shower stall frame. The bottom sweep of the product would jam between the shower door and the metal frame making it impossible to close the door. I had to cut the bottom sweep completely off to close the shower door. This opens up the possibility of water splashing out of the shower stall.

This is a fabulous product and we are so glad Amazon had the company on their site to sell this item. Went to both Lowes and Home Depot, and they did not sell this item. Thanks Amazon! And to the Company who sells this item as well. And it saved us so much money to buy it through you than to hire a contractor to come in and do it. Great job!! Seth

The splash guard fitted onto the glass door well,I looked for a wider drip rail that would almost touch the bottom metal frame. I could not find it for th 3/16".So I also purchased a CRL for 1/2" Glass and inserted the 3/16" splash guard into it in a small place.I still need to find a 3/16" splash guard with at least 3/4" to 1" drip rail that extends from the bottom of theshower door to the bottom metal shower frame.

This worked out great. The old sweep was glued on and it just cracked when I tried to remove it. I ended up separating it slowly with a box cutter then I used Goof Off and a rag to remove any residue. I cut the new one to length with a hack saw and very little effort. I didn't have vaseline so i applied a bit of lip balm along the glass and popped it right in. No more wet floor!
