🍻 Elevate Your Brewing Game!
The Beer Dry Hopper Filter is a versatile 300-micron stainless steel mesh filter designed for home brewing enthusiasts. Measuring 2.8 x 11.8 inches, it accommodates up to 2 ounces of hops, ensuring optimal flavor extraction while preventing unwanted particles from entering your brew. Its easy-to-clean design makes it a convenient choice for both beer and compost tea brewing.

Could use a better method for capping it.
Better for leaf hops or clipping on the side of a pot during the boil but be warned the mesh will clog pretty easily with pellet hops. I also suggest using a string on the cap to hold it upright and wrap it around the bottom as it may come open during a dry hoping if you use large amounts of hops. As the hops expand they will pop the lid off since it just pushes on the top without any threads or anything to clip it closed. It's a bit flimsy so be careful when cleaning it even a strong jet of water can bend the mesh out of shape.

A great product but lacking a chain to retrieve it
Perfect for the times I use it for dry hopping or adding whisky barrel chips to the fermenter. As a home brewer, I used to use muslin bags to add dry hops or adjuncts to my fermenter. This makes it so much easier to add them and to reuse time and time again. Easy to clean and sanitize. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with a stainless steel chain to affix to the top of it to aid in the retrieval of it at the end of the dry hopping process.

So so
-The filter came apart from the stainless steel nipple. It’s attached with a clamp that you can’t tighten. I was able to screw it mostly back together but it’s clear it will come apart again the next time I screw it into my kettle.-the hop spider doesn’t come with a chain to keep it upright. The top has holes much larger than 300 microns, so hops rise and break apart during the boil and then exit the larger holes. It captures a lot, but let’s plenty out into your beer.-the largest hop spider works as intended

Much bigger than i thought
This will not fit in a standard glass carboy. It works well with our plastic wide mouth fermenter for dry hopping.

The threaded cap dosn't tread...
For the amount I paid for this I would at least expect the threaded cap to securely fasten. Instead it disconnects with ease. This is especially troubling due to the fact that the threaded cap is where the loop ring is located for the use of pulling the filter from my beer. I highly doubt it would stay intact after I attempt to pull this filter from the beer via a string attached to the very loose fitting cap. Thus defeating the main purpose and entire use of said hop filter.

the top will NOT stay on , good luck pulling it out of your keg
without making a mess.OK if you just drop it in and leave it but not well made.I will put up with it for 12 bucks but will only use for cold brew in a mason jar, so I don't need the cap.Chinese junk

Very basic hop basket
It works but the top does not stay on well. After a few batches, I still think there are way too many hop particles that slip through. Last few glasses of a keg are filled with hops

Other than that it's good. If you're infusing items that won't fit through ...
Needs the screen filter over the holes in the cap. The hops just ooze out the top. Other than that it's good. If you're infusing items that won't fit through those holes it's perfect.
