Bosch Ariston GL Kit for GL2.5 and GL4 - PLS READ COMPATIBILITY BULLETS

I am a handyman by trade, so I am used to the plumbing and electrical aspects involved in the repair process.I use an under the counter water heater because my whole house water heater is a long distance from my kitchen. I have not done any maintenance on it for more than 7 years. This repair kit is exactly what I needed when the unit quit providing hot water. It was easy to install, and gave me the results I required. Included instructions were easy to follow. I had previously looked up the Bosch website for the tech sheets and got the info and expanded maintenance drawings, also.Good deal all around. Great products.

Exact replacement parts. What else is there to say. Easy to replace even without instructions. Old parts were really worn out.

We have had our BA GL 2.5 for three years now and then suddenly there was water in the over flow pan we had put under it. I reviewed the operating manual and followed the instruction for removing & checking the gasket. I could see calcium buildup around the gasket. I ordered this kit to hopefully fix the problem. The kit arrived on time. In a matter of minutes I put the new kit in place. Problem solved. Being I had the heating element out I gave the unit a very good cleaning inside. There was allot of build up inside the tank and pieces of the anode rod. By far this is the best way to go. Ordering individual parts is much more expensive. We love this unit for under the sink, instant hot water and water savings.

This element is what I needed for my Bosch water heater and was not difficult to install and it worked greatly.

Good do it yourself project. Absolutely love the cost effectiveness of point of use water heaters. Use it as backup to solar hot water.

Totally rebuilt and rejuvenated a dead Ariston unit. Even came with new gasket and bolts and nuts. Perfect.

I love our 2 gallon hot water heater in the master bathroom which all the way on the other end of the house from the main water heater. After about 5 or 6 years the little Bosch unit quit heating. I was hitting the reset button every couple days. This heating element and anode rod kit fixed the problem! Now we have almost instant hot water again!
