I dont want to install the brackets since I have d-rings.** A: I don't think it will. The pin that holds the tow bar must go thru a horizontal bracket.......i think the "D" ring you have is horizontal too so there would be no place to insert the pin. So I don't think they are compatible. **Q: Can the Width of this go smaller than 24". I need it to be 15 inches to tow a leaf vacuum?** A: yeah the two arms can touch during storage, so you just tighten bolts at desired width. **Q: will this work to tow a 2013 honda fit from an rv? do i need to purchase more items or is this a complete kit?** A: Everything I needed was in the kit. No additional purchase was required. With regards to rv towing, I’m not sure. Certainly durable enough, just not sure about figment. My son had a ‘92 wrangler YJ. we used this to tow the Jeep from MD to TN behind my Tahoe. Towed like a champ. **Q: Will this work with the roadmaster EZ twisterlock brackets??** A: It is not designed for that application. With some modifications you could make it work, But the best plan is to buy a Roadmaster tow bar. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Parts missing *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 August 2025* Delivered with box ripped open at top and parts missing no bolts and one bar missing so absolutely useless ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Way stronger than it looks *by on Reviewed in the United States 23 May 2026* Put it on my jeep cherokee crawler, to tow behind my truck to the desert. Had an incident that proved to be one hell of a stress test on it. The jeep was out of order and we were getting a run at my driveway that has a big curb at the beginning. So we put a bungie on the tow bar to hold it up and used a 4 wheeler to get the jeep up to speed to pop over the curb. It all sounded good at the time. So we got the jeep up to about 20mph, slam on the brakes with the 4 wheeler, and right before the curb, the bungie pop off and the tow bar drop to the ground, the jeep pushed the towbar right into the curb. P0W..... the front of the jeep flew up in the air and was resting with the towbar flip backwards with the front axle on top of it. It bent the ends of the unaframe, but when we got the jeep off the towbar, the mounts were perfect, the towbar was perfect. The jeep, well, she got some needed reinforcement.
