My 8 year old son uses a table tray in the living room to do homework on and also draw while watching YouTube tutorials on the TV. We had another table tray that was wood and it was definitely more flimsy than this one. It also had little divots in between each wooden panel, which made it hard to have a flat surface while writing/drawing. We would have to put another book underneath his paper so it was completely flat.This table is OUTSTANDING! Not only does it have a ton of extra features, but the table is incredibly sturdy. The legs of the table easily fold in, gliding very smoothly. The cup holder is the perfect size to fit a can in and helps ease our mind of it accidentally spilling my getting knocked off. There is also a little slot at the top for a pencil and my son also uses it to put his Ninendo Switch in so he can watch drawing tutorials through that. The size is much bigger than the other table we had in the past as well, giving my son ample space to have his colored pencils, his water, his paper and Nintendo Switch with room leftover. It also comes with a drawer underneath to store small items.It also was the highest table I could find. My son likes to put his legs underneath and this one wasn't as close to the ground as the others were.My only slight complaint would be that the drawer is sometimes harder to pull out. It seems to feel as though it is stuck, even when nothing is in there. But it does pull out, it's just not an easy gliding drawer.I would highly recommend this table tray to anyone that wants one that will last a long time!

Excellent quality and design. The only problem is that it's not quite as sturdy as I would have liked (rocks a bit in bed) but, everything else about it is top notch! Love the little drawer and cup holder. I plan to use it at my workspace so I can stand when working. Buying one for my son!

The desk is functional but the inserts for the drink holder and the tablet don't work well (too small) and the plastic pieces fall out easily. It's not stable on soft surfaces such as a bed or couch given the folding leg brackets are curved. Very tippy.

It goes with me to my office and my bedroom or the living room. Holds the items I need, really like the cup holder, and the ipad slot which has a spot for a pen. Very helpful. Very sturdy. Folds nicely to hide away when space is not available. Highly recommend.

I am a hairstylist, and I try to be super accommodating to my work-from-home clients ! This was actually recommended in one of my facebook groups and I absolutely had to try it ! The majority of my clients get highlights, and if you have ever gotten them, you know the process ! My clients were hunched over which makes my job harder, while balancing their laptops on their leg which makes their jobs harder ! Now, this portable desk sits on my clients lap while the legs go inbetween my chair arms and their legs . It is comfortable and a great fit !
