It was the "D. A. F. T. " DVD featuring five videos associated with the French musical duo, Daft Punk. Supposedly "D. A. F. T." refers to a story about Dogs, Androids, Firemen and Tomatoes. In fact it's five videos to accompany Daft Punk music. Four of the videos, "Da Funk," "Around the World." "Burnin'," and "Revolution 909" are on one side of the CD. Each of the videos is accompanied by somewhat interesting discussion of how it was made and other assorted facts. The other side of the disc is occupied by the "Rollin' & Scratchin' " video in which the viewer can adjust to up to nine slightly different versions. I tried about four and lost interest.Of the more conventional videos, I least liked the "Da Funk" and "Revolution 909." They were little stories involving a dog-faced character and a lot of miscellaneous activity. To me, the talk and the activity made it hard to listen to the music in the background and the music was the most important part. The "Burnin'" video was more interesting and involved a lot of action and had a somewhat humorous ending. To me, these three videos would not rank among the better music videos I've seen, but were modestly interesting.Then came "Around The World" and it redeemed everything. Wonderful! It's one of the best musical videos I've ever seen. Well, I've always liked the song "Around The World." it's just one of the better Daft Punk efforts. Then this song was marvelously choreographed by about a dozen dancers on a small raised platform. Trust me. You have to see it. When I watch it, a smile comes across my face and I break out into a laugh. It's a good feeling! When it's over, I play it again. And again. It's a splendid video, one of the best I've ever seen. This one video is worth the price of the DVD.So, the "D. A. F. T." DVD is a mixed bag. Based on all the stuff other than the "Around the World" video, I'd give it a three-star rating. However, the "Around the World" video is so good, It makes the DVD worth owning.Gary Peterson ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Daft Punk DVD *by 2***1 on Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2007* I'm a huge fan of Daft Punk so I had to buy up all their products. This DVD features music videos from the their first album release  Homework  but does not cover all the songs from the CD also as a bonus feature it contains a live performance of one of their songs from the same album. I really like this DVD but then again I am a huge fan. Bottom line if you enjoy Daft Punk and want videos made by them with their music then get this DVD ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well done *by E***9 on Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2000* I liked this DVD because I had not yet seen any of Daft Punk's music videos. Basically, this DVD is composed of 5 music videos: Da Funk, Around the World, Burnin, Revolution 909, and Fresh. It contains at least 2 commentaries on each video and even remixes.
