The Perfect Substrate for Happy Betta Fish
I recently decided to upgrade my betta fish tank setup, and after some research, I came across the Betta Fish Sand Substrate. Let me tell you, this product exceeded all my expectations, and my betta fish are loving it!First and foremost, the sand substrate is of exceptional quality. It is finely granulated, providing a smooth and comfortable surface for my betta fish to explore and rest on. Unlike gravel or rougher substrates, this sand is gentle on their delicate fins, ensuring a stress-free environment. The natural appearance of the sand is another highlight. It beautifully replicates the soft, sandy bottoms found in betta fish natural habitats, creating a visually appealing and authentic aquatic setting. The sand's neutral color also enhances the vibrant colors of my betta fish, making them truly stand out in the tank. One of the greatest advantages of this substrate is its easy maintenance. The sand is easily sifted and cleaned, preventing debris from accumulating and keeping the tank water pristine. It doesn't cloud the water like some other substrates, ensuring a clear and healthy environment for my fish.Additionally, the sand substrate promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria, which aids in maintaining a stable and balanced aquarium ecosystem. This has had a positive impact on the overall water quality, contributing to the health and vitality of my betta fish.In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Betta Fish Sand Substrate highly enough. It offers a perfect combination of aesthetics, functionality, and ease of maintenance. My betta fish are thriving in their new environment, and I couldn't be happier. If you're looking to create a beautiful and healthy habitat for your bettas, this substrate is an absolute must-have!I would definitely give it a solid 5-star rating and will be using this substrate for all my future betta fish setups

Sand looked great But killed all the fish
This sand looked beautiful. Rich and luxurious looking. A bit pricey for a small bag but seemed worth it after seeing it. I rinsed the sand thoroughly before using it. I was replacing some very ugly blue gravel in a 2 gallon Nano Tank. The 2 fish were thriving before. After replacing with the black sand I noticed the fish were not acting normal. Floating in unnatural positions. I immediately checked water parameters did a partial water change and they seemed better. After a day they again were struggling. They did die after a few days. I have a second nano tank I had been cycling. I had also used the same sand in this tank. it was going to be for a small school of neon tetra. I put the tetras in before I went to bed. By morning they were all dead. Ive been keeping various fish for 40 years so this seemed out of the ordinary. I had checked everything so I concluded it had to be the sand. I removed the sand from both tanks and replaced with a black aquarium gravel. Since then both tanks are up and running with same species of fish and they are thriving. I ended up taking the sand and using it on one of my bonsai trees as decoration on top of soil. Believe it or not my bonsai tree also died. I never really write reviews but I felt like I should share my experience with this sand.

100% DO NOT BUY!! BEWARE!!
This is very long but I feel like it would be helpful to others. First pic was him sick. Second is after I swapped back to the glass beads. I bought this to go in my daughter's betta tank so it would make the colors pop. I changed from the glass beads in the second pic. The betta went from completey normal to immediately sitting on top of the heater. Thinking it was just stress of the water change and the change to gravel, I let him be. Next day, he was still acting weird. He was either laying on top of the heater, on the bottom, or upside down behind the filter. After spending many hours researching what I could have possibly done wrong and spending money on betta water, water testing kits (which all came back normal), stress zyme, and some leaves for bettas, I went back and actually read the bad reviews on this substrate. Since it had 156 reviews and 4 stars, I didn't read them before purchasing (never will do that again). Once finding out it caused similar problems for others, I immediately changed back to the glass and did a complete water change with a new filter. Once I put him back in after removing the substrate, he started acting better. He's back to his normal self. I truly believe it was killing him. I'm just glad I figured it out before it was too late.
