All kinds of strategies and 'hacks' to cope with negative situations alongside lists, instructions and so much more make this an invaluable publication for newbies and experienced preppers alike. Don't take my word for it, go and get a copy for yourself, you won't regret it!

This is an excellent well-written book. It is full of clear, concise and practical advice and information. From easy to achieve temporary solutions to more advanced stuff for the worst case scenarios, it makes a grid down situation seem a lot less daunting. With the recent pandemic and now war in Ukraine, many people are worried about the times we're living in. Yet still, at least in the UK, 'preppers' can be viewed as a bit weird! This book and Ted Riley's other book When Crisis Hits Suburbia have reassured me that I'm not weird, just preparing to be prepared!

This book doesn’t disappoint, I’ve ready several prepper books but find Ted Riley’s version really down to earth and easy to read with huge amounts of practical advice. Although US based it is relevant to the U.K, there seem to be few U.K. written books as good as this. Good, practical advice for what seems to be a real risk given current circumstances a little too close to home for comfort.

This must be the ultimate guide to prepping, certainly in the UK, and with Ted's other 2 books. Surely there is nothing left to cover! So thorough, very readable, clear explanations. Love the "take action" idea at the end of each chapter, which gives the reader a starting point. Absolutely brilliant. Couldn't put it down once I started reading.
