Does the job
Used it for my 17" Toshiba laptop. It's about an inch shorter on each side, but it does the job well in cooling the old laptop.

A bit of saga, but... when I first received the cooler, it was superior to the one I bought from Best Buy in every single way. Unfortunately, it died three months in, and the Asurion warrantee I bought doesn't kick in until the manufactory one times out. Given there is no readily available contact info for them, all I could was leave bad review and hope someone saw and cared.It worked, at first. They said it must have been a faulty model and sent a replacement.That one died after a SINGLE MONTH. It was like they calculated how long it would take to make it non-refundable, then added a day.No one responded to this review, and here I am in June with no cooler because I'm light-sensitive and Amazon apparently doesn't have any others the right size without flashing lights.This product has made me HATE Lamicall to the point where I wouldn't buy anything else from them if my life depended on it.

Very well-designed. Extremely quiet.
I think the lifetime of a notebook pc depends greatly on the operating temperature of the processor. So, I have always used a cooling pad. This one is designed to fit in my pc bag (thin and lightweight): so, I can take it with me when I travel. One hazard of using a cooling pad, because these are usually adjusted to support the pc at an inclined angle to allow for good air-flow, the pc can slide off, onto the ground below. This cooling pad has a tab at the front edge, that can be raised. This keeps the pc from sliding off of the pad surface. Good thinking; clever design.

The media could not be loaded. There is some noise, but I don't mind it that much.Size is perfect for 15" Mac Book Pro.
