I'm writing an update to the review I wrote seven months ago after taking these multivitamins for couple weeks. Now, at 4+ months of taking them, I have seen notable improvements in several areas. First, the changes to my fingernails and toenails is impressive, as I had developed horizontal ridges in 4 of my fingernails and splits in 3 nails. The ridges and nails splits have disappeared as my nutrition improved over these 4+ months. My toenails were crumbly and sore...now, they are much stronger and most of the soreness has left. The hair on my right side temple was getting very thin...now, I'm growing new hair. I'm NOT kidding. So, I'm now convinced these pills work. I have tangible proof. Here is my original review: These vitamins are expensive. So, almost didn't buy them but I did. I've been taking them for 2 weeks. I was so tired before that I had to take a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon. I felt like going back to bed within 2 hours of getting up in the morning. I seem to be more energetic and will still lay down in the afternoon but I'm not sleeping like I used to. I would say these vitamins have value in the energy department. Don't know yet about proof they're benefiting me in other ways. But I will. I'm 71 years old. I've always had energy but not past couple of years. So, this is a start. When I tried to save money and stop my New Capter Multivitamin and tried to meet all my nutritional needs through a healthy diet alone, I felt more exhausted, sleepy and unmotivated. I went ahead and ordered it today and subscribed for every 3 months and saved over $10 on my order. My doctor in Portola Valley, CA recommended this brand to me in 2007. I' trust it because it's food-based -- not synthetically made in a lab. I tracked my foods on a food app and even though I ate a healthy well-balanced diet, I was falling short on some nutrients, so I know I need the New Chapter Multivitamin.

I'm sure these work fine, but the taste and after taste makes me want to gag. Not to mention the large size

The best multi I've used in a very long time..... It really provides what I need (in my 60s), and it has allowed me to cut back on some of the additional vitamins I was taking. So, although it's not cheap, I have been saving money. Plus, I love that I only need to take one pill. Also, the pill is somewhat large, and I often don't like that. But this one goes down very easily. I will continue to use this vitamin. (And I bought the men's version for my husband. He feels the same about his.)

They don’t make me sick like others have. They are easy to go down.

These were ok but like any other vitamin do they work? we will never know. I took them for a while, but changed I think they got to high in price
