A: if you're looking to kill odors in the machine- yes. Must be rinsed out. Cleaning clothes?- NO.

A: initial application 6-12 ounces, then 2- 6 ounces weekly depending on drain size, facility type(kitchen grease traps, bathroom drains, etc.) All doses on label.

I have used other types of powdered enzyme/bacteria solutions for plumbing preventive maintenance measures with fair results. The reason why I chose this one is because from what I have read and believe is that the liquid form of this solution works faster and better and it has many more enzyme and bacteria that produce more abundantly. I must say it works especially well in my toilet ejector pit and sump pump pit. I use it in all my drains and everything is free following. I highly recommend it for all of your plumbing preventative maintenance needs. Thumbs up!
