A truck with extended mirrors hit our truck and shattered our mirror. This was the second time it happened. The first time, we replaced the mirror with one from the dealership to the tune of almost $400! this time, we searched Amazon and found this one for $20! The only difference is it does not have an auto dimming feature, which is not really needed. It was an easy install and so good we bought an extra just in case. Highly recommend!!!

I bought two if these. First one was OK, but had quite a distorted reflection - like a circus funhouse mirror. First trip through a car wash, the mirror blew-out during the drying cycle. I figured maybe I hadn't snapped it in properly at the top mounts. Then I ordered a second one & all was good - reflection image was much better, but still a little distorted - very usable. THEN, about a month later & closed my door & the mirror fell out & was hanging by the wire. Upon inspection, one of the top mounting tabs molded into the black mirror backer had broken right off. Next mirror I'm ordering will be from my Dodge dealer - gotta go OE on these. Chi-Na can't get these ones right.

Installation was pretty easy. I did use the springs from the original mirror since they worked better. Great, clear and worth every penny.

This mirror seems to be low quality. Once installed it has a slightly distorted look to it. I’m not sure how to describe it other than to say the reflection is not crisp but instead kind of wavy.
