Love it
Great book, from a great writer/journalist.

a good read
Detailed history and analysis of the Kinahan OCG. Deeper insights on law enforcement actions would have been very helpful. Some language was more tabloid headline than was appropriate. The value of investigative journalists is clear though.

Good background story
I knew very little about the background to this, which I surprising given the frightening facts. I was attracted to the book by the US travel ban on the central character. Well worth the read.

Well Researched
Well Researched and detailed account of the crime scene in Ireland and beyond. Can't help thinking there was much more the author would have liked to have said but couldn't for whatever reason

Excellent read
An excellent book that I was attracted to by Daniel Kinahans involvement in boxing and to find out who he really was.

Beloved and Unbeloved
World champion fighters and even boxers lower in the rankings owed much to Daniel Kinahan, including their lives and careers. But UK police, including Scotland Yard and the Irish gardai, see the reputed rival of the drug dealing Hutch family as the enemy. Read this outstanding book and form your own opinion.

Slap journalism
Seemingly accurate and insightful; though hung on an armature of cliche. Filled with grammatical misprision and clearly written in great haste.Describes sociopathic behaviour within a lifestyle of material wealth and intellectual meanness (in both cis- and trans-Atlantic senses.
