One problem with this salt, it taste so good you will eat too much of it if you aren't careful. Tibetan Monks use Himalayan salt. HCS contains minerals.Do not take my word, use your browser and read for your self about Sea Salt, especially Himalayan. I have used sea salt for maybe 10 years, from coast of northern France, I switched to Swanson after I read about Himalayan. I keep a bottle in my car and truck to use when eating out. It will cake, no artificial agent to prevent caking, just bang it on the table a little bit and it will flow.. I like shakers with larger holes in the top. the second order I placed, I went ahead and got 3 jars(nice jars too) I use the junk table salt to kill slugs on the porch., that's about all it is good for. I highly recommend this product.

This is a great value and the salt is very high quality. I have been buying this for years through Swanson's Vitamins, it is a little bit better price there, but I have prime and I needed some pronto, so glad to find it on Amazon.

From using this Himalayan Salt for as long as Swanson carried it ....I would not purchase a comparative product since there is NOone that comes close in quality AND price.....

I am so happy that I ordered Swanson's Himalayan Pink Salt. It is a wonderful product with many health benefits. I felt that the quality of this product is outstanding and I was impressed that it is endorsed by Dr. Barbara Hendel. Thank you, Swanson, for bringing this wonderful nutrient to the USA from Pakistan. This brand contains "pure Himalayan salt" not a fake rock salt like some other companies. The price was very reasonable.

I have been diagnosed with a Hiatal Hernia and acid reflux. I suffered with constant hoarseness, sometimes loosing my voice, not to mention the sleepless nights when I could not lie down. I have sit up to sleep many nights & you just don't sleep as well as when you can't go to bed with your head on a pillow. and all the medications give me gastritis.( I have tried all of them). The Hoarseness was so bad I had trouble talking , couldn't sing at church anymore and while I still have some of the hoarseness, it is MUCH better since I started using Himalayan Salt. I have been keeping quiet about it for about 2 weeks but finally told my daughter this week. I guess I was afraid if I talked it would come back as bad as ever. I was actually able to sing a little at Church this week end! So now I am sure this salt is is helping . I bought my first two small shakers at a local Health Food Store and then found this site on amazon, The price is so much more affordable. I gave my daughter a salt shaker full this week to try and I will see my sister this week end and have a shaker full for her to try. I Should shop for smaller shakers :) I will be ordering more salt soon if I keep giving this away but I am so thrilled with the results and I love the taste. I just want everybody to try it.I don't even like the taste of my grocery store salt after tasting Himalayan Crystal SaltTry it You Just Might Like It
