I really hate this doorbell

Overall its a good product....however the chimes are damn annoying. Whenever it rings I get a bit frustrated...lol. Oh god it just rang...errr

The bell buttons have screw terminals on the back for ...

The bell buttons have screw terminals on the back for an auxiliary alarm. However no rating for these contacts is specified. I wired them as normally open contacts on an auxiliary alarm circuit operating on 24volts and the bell button circuit board burned out. Apparently they cannot be wired as directed in instructions.
