How long will the glue stay adhered to skin on the the scalp area, with regular bathing and exercising? Will it remain adhered through hair regrowth?

Hello Carrie, tI will adhere through hair. It stays on 7-14 days and will come off naturally your body oil with cause it to release when its time. I cant tell you if its hard to get out of hair. I would think it should be easy. As for showering I try to never get the glued wound wet or just light washing. also depending on the size of the wound you might want to shave a small area around the wound. And also if you have steri strips they work great. you cut them down in size and use them over the glue and wound they act as a butterfly giving the glue extra support. I hope this works. Kevin

How many uses can you get from this product and what is the shelf life after opening?

Hello, I have bought mine in Nov 2016 and it says that shelf life is until March 2018. So I'm guessing the shelf life is about 1.5 years when you keep it in the fridge. As far as how many uses you get out of it will depend on the size of the cuts. I have used it about 30-40 times on my fingers for small cuts and still have about half a tube left. It works great. I play ice hockey and when a friend cut his chin with a put we used the glue as opposed to stiches to fix it. I hope this helps.

Will or will not this hold a gash approx. 1/2" closed while it heals without the use of a band-aid or stitches???? Thanks.

Consideration must be given to variables such as depth and location of the wound. Thus, shallow wounds and lacerations not near stress areas will likely benefit from closure with a skin adhesive alone.

It works great and fast!

The media could not be loaded. This product is a Class 2 FDA cleared product for use instead of stitches.It’s also Class 1 FDA cleared for over the counter use; which means that it’s a very capable medical grade product.After I received the product I used it for small nicks, paper cuts, fingernail split from finger, scrapes, and other small injuries due to me constantly working on some house projects. It definitely works and it works much better than the NU SKIN I used until now, which would watch away very quickly and it doesn't really bond as well as this glue. Once you start using the GluStich, you will wonder how you got by without it. It also works well on cracked feet and heels where the skin is much tougher. It instantly eliminates the pain from the open skin cut.

worth the price!

Sadly, I bought this product as I have a son with autism and severe epilepsy, who falls with seizures and has had a few lacerations now that would have required stitches and a traumatic trip to the ER without this. Last night he fell and lacerated his chin and the bleeding stopped and the glue dried within seconds. For those asking it stays put even after bathing and it just naturally falls over after about 10 days last time.

An Unconventional Use!

So I'm an avid quilter and I can't even count how many times I have cut myself on needles or cutting tools. Bleeding on pretty fabric is definitely not ok! And it slows me down! I used GluStitch on a cut and it worked great to seal the wound and stop the bleeding. No more clumsy bandaids that never stick. Just saying, I keep it beside my sewing machine! Give it a try for those minor boo boos!

Formula was not the same, had OIL in it. NEVER AGAIN will I buy this.

Purchased Skinstitch 5 times, and this last time, the product had an oil substance in it that would not dry that resembled mineral oil. The seller did not refund my money even after I sent pictures. My review: Small amount of product with oil added = NEVER AGAIN.

No more bandaids

I was looking for an alternative solution to help with all my cuts and nicks that I get on my hands from construction other then bandaids. This works unbelievable and the flexibility and sealant at the same time is great. I have the rest of the guys on my crew hooked now too.
