Eruption (Hunted) Paperback – April 14, 2016

Seriously by far one of the best series I’ve red in a long time. The romance and love is the dream and the evil villain you love to hate! The endings always leaving you gasp or grasping for more! Ivy knows how to tell a story and get you hooked!

I absolutely loved this book! Ivy does such a great job at keeping the reader suspicious and unsure. Maybe I'm a lot like Penny myself and that's why I feel like I understand so easily how she feels. Gah!!! But anyway, to the review!The beginning of Eruption takes us two years ahead from the end of the previous book to the planning of Penny and James's wedding. Some time is spent with the goings on of wedding planning, looking to move into a new home, Penny graduating, and some light friend drama. Everything seems to be going well. We get to see James more open and almost playful with Penny. As an alpha-male, he still wields quite a bit of control though, wanting her to work in his company, buying a home for Penny without her input, etc. Penny takes it all in stride and is always looking at the thoughtfulness and reasons of practicality, rather than pushing for even ground and more of a voice in the relationship. She has always felt that James was too good for her, too good to be true. Although she does not doubt his love, that feeling of inferiority has never left the back of her mind.Issues begin to arise like a low simmer as Penny pushes to find a way to meet James's parents. They always find a way to allude her. It becomes clear one night that they want Isabella (James's ex) and James to reconcile and just want Penny to disappear. There's a lot of blatant nastiness going on there!As the story progresses, seeds of doubt once again begin to grow. There is no way to guess which way things will turn out as new revelations and utterly shocking moments occur! Holy shit moments! WTF moments! Penny continues to brush things off to keep stress from James and try to deal with all the craziness that Isabella throws at her. She tries to be strong and push through to the wedding. She will not let Isabella come between them.As Isabella's scheming unfolds, more and more uncertainty and insecurity plagues Penny, and that low simmer of trouble evolves into a rolling boil! It all becomes too much to deal with under pressure. In an act of desperation to protect James, Penny makes a judgment call that could be the beginning of the end. Will Penny fall apart? What about Penny's support system and the health of her relationship with her friends? How far will Isabella take matters into her own hands? To what length will she go to tear them apart? What does this all mean for Penny and James?I seem to read Ivy's books faster than any others. She always has me on the edge of my seat and my heart in my throat. Her characters are so well fleshed out and easily empathized with that I just can't put it down. I could find myself extremely anxious and distressed right along with Penny as all kinds of trouble piles on her. She was truly alone in her turmoil. I have to know what happens to them!The end of Eruption left me hanging by a thread! This upgrades me officially to "stalker phase" as we await the book to follow!I highly recommend this series! The Hunted series is a highly emotional, turmoil filled, couple-against-the-odds love story that should not be missed!

This story never ends I'm ripping my hair out it's such a rollercoaster of emotions!Spice 3/5The drama, The angst, the ups and downs are ripping my heart out for these two.Onto book four, my goodness I need a HEA.This author knows how to torture her readers in a good way, haven't slept!Highly recommend.

I started this series a week ago and I am so far into it I had to order all the books! I ordered eruption, I just opened it and started reading and on some of the pages it looks like there’s blood on it. The book was wrapped in packaging so I don’t know what it could be. Love this series so so much just upset my book has stains on it :(

As usual Ivy has on the edge of our seat concerning the relationship between James and Penny. Of course, Isabella is still trying to cause trouble between these two. Some time is spent with the goings on of wedding planning, looking to move into a new home, Penny graduating, and some light friend drama. Everything seems to be going good until Isabella starts messing around with b both of their lives. She is trying to gain James's confidence by pretending to be his friend and she is definitely messing with Penny's mind because she knows that she would do anything to protect James. She thinks that Penny is an addiction for James, but she really doesn't understand the depth of relationship between these two, but does she care? I don't think James is in love with Isabella or even his first love Rachel, but Penny doesn't know that. Good reading

I can’t believe there was no wedding yet but at least the parents are coming around to be okay people instead of evil evil evil

Luckily I already know there’s another book, but I was legitimately confused when I went to read another chapter. I thought I skipped something. Good until then. I guess I’ll be reading the next one…

Crazy ex wife meddling in their lives before the wedding. She blackmails them into transferring money into Tyler’s bank account and causes the wedding to be called off. Book ends with her leaving her ring on the counter and leaving

Every book in this series is a page turner, I just read book 3 in one day I could not put it down . Book 3 had me smiling with all the feels, and also had me infuriated lol I Can’t wait for book 4

It ends with a cliffhanger . The wedding is coming soon.Isabelle, ex wife of james is ready to do anything to break apart their couple

I’m absolutely loving this series. The characters are great, the storyline is brilliant, and the plot developed at a good pace.I loved that this book jumped forward a bit from theast. We see Penny graduate, and then trying to fit in to life after college with James.I absolutely love James. His brilliant. I love his dark past, and I love how he is now. Penny brings the best out in him, and vice versa. They are both brilliant characters and their relationship is brilliant.Isabella is a b*tch and a half though. Jesus, the ending. I felt so sorry for Penny. She wasn’t really left with much choice, and I could also understand why James was upset. They’re both a little hot headed when they’re hurt and angry, when really, they just need to talk to each other.I have every faith that they’ll fix everything in the next book, especially now that she’s approached his parents.This is such an easy read and a brilliant series. The character development is brilliant. I would definitely recommend it and I’m looking forward to reading the next book.Jessreviews.co.uk

Always leaves me wanting more. Love this series so much. 100% worth the read and would recommend to anyone willing to try something new.

The story continues and the love gets better and better, but so does the turmoil. James! You love him and hate him.😃
