It is overheating and video quality is poor

Even though the HERO9 is a few generations old, it offers excellent value for money. It features 5K video, and the image quality isn't significantly different from newer models. Highly recommended for its performance and affordability.

I decided to get one for my wife as a gift for our anniversary because a friend of ours has one and he absolutely loves it and I couldn’t believe the video & image quality, all the features, and just how small and portable it is! The problem that I ran into was that I figured I’d save a bit of money and get one that had been returned. It was labeled “Used-Good Condition” but when it arrived, both screens flickered but never actually turned on and it was missing the battery door! I wasn’t thrilled considering our anniversary was a few days away but I returned it and had it credited to my gift card balance to put towards another one. This time I thought, “If I get one that’s “Used-Like New Condition”, surely it will be fine!”. It wasn’t fine. The screens worked this time around and it was in great condition but it wouldn’t stay on for than 5 seconds no matter if you had it plug in, had a fully charged battery, etc.! So moral of the story just buy a new one.

Tenis una Gopro 10 que lqa usaba en mis viajes en motocicleta, y en un viaje se le rompió la base de plasmático ya no la encontré. Espese a buscar otra cámara y entre las opciones que tenia eran la 9 , 10, 11 y 12. Viendo varias reseñas de comparaciones de ventajas, desventajas y precios llegue a la concluir que la mejora opción para mi era la 9 por su relación vs precio y mis requerimientos. Tiene buena resolución y estabilidad.

This is my first Gopro camera and so far I'm pretty impressed with it. I don't know how to set all of the settings to get fantastic video out of it yet, but just the stock settings, to my eye look fantastic. The videos look realistic. Closer to what you would see with the naked eye than with other cameras I've used. The only other camera I have to compare this to is the Insta360 SMO 4K camera, which is a strip down version of the Insta360 1R camera. The stabilization on the Gopro is far better. The video quality is far better. I'm not a photographer. I don't pretend to be one. I'm just the normal non camera person and this is a non camera person's impression of the Gopro Hero 9. It's pricy, but it's good. If you buy Gopro knock-offs you'll end up spending more money in the end because the fake ones and copies will break and won't give you as nice of quality video. My dad for example probably has $500 worth of cheap knock-off Gopro cameras. Most of them don't work anymore and of the 1 that does still work, it locks up and gives really bad video. He could have spent less to get the genuine article.
