Ms Alers story takes you on a journey. Morgan and Nate are two wonderfully written characters. Their story is well written, believable, fun loving, enjoyable. Sit back with a nice glass (your choice) and enjoy the trip this book takes you on.

A Good Love......
While I have read all of the beginning books for the seriesof the Gullah people of Santuary Cove and Cavanaaugh Island, this novel left me somewhat in a maze..the book is a goodread but I didn't come away with the chemistry for the twomain characters. Morgan has loved Nate since she was a childand he was much older and never thought of her in an intimateway. Until, he has a bad experience and returns to CavanaughIsland with a lot of heavy baggage from his previous relationship. He had vowed not to marry or fall in love again until Morganconvinces him that love is worth another try. The love scenesdidn't give me the chemistry feeling that this writer has inthe past. Although, I have try to be objective about the book, maybe she was giving us a feel of having a real relationship.

Great summer read!
Enjoyed the romantic interaction between Morgan and Nate as well as the rich history of the "low country." Many messages regarding relationships and family throughout the book.I would recommend that readers first read Sanctuary Cove and Angels Landing first.
