Any good for daily cleaning around a fire place so dealing wish ash and general wood dust?

The vacuum is excellent and I am very pleased with it. However when I used is to clean up fine dust from grout removal the filter did block. It is a quick, simple procedure to clean the filter but this would be tiresome on a daily basis as would be the case with ash.

Is it possible to buy extra filters? I’ve gone though 2 and need more.

I don’t think so but they should never wear out as they are washable etc so I’m puzzled how you could go through them unless they’ve been burnt or melted or something similar
