The media could not be loaded. If you’re after some serious air-cleaning power, reliability & functionality , then the 600s is for you.We use ours to filter a large open plan space. I currently have it in the kitchen, the true Hepa and carbon filter makes short work of kitchen odours.We use ours as mainly infection control, as true Hepa filters are able to remove viruses and bacteria. Unfortunately you cannot see those things lingering in the air, but the other day I was able to test the Levoit to its maximum - as the air fryer had filled the room with smoke!I put the Levoit on its maximum setting and you could see the brilliant air circulation and cleaning power of this model in action.For best effect, the filter should be positioned in the centre of the room. This allows for full air circulation with minimal ‘dead’ spots. I also elevate the filter (on a cardboard box) to prevent the filter from sucking up dust and pet hair etc (which will clog up the hepa faster.). It’s a shame that Levoit do not sell a stand for their models, it would look a lot smarter..I remove the filter and vacuum it once a month - you can see how much much these things remove - I have even found midge flies inside it - it’s that powerful it is! 😂 Vacuuming the filter can extend the filter life massively - you don’t need to replace every 6 months in my opinion, but I guess it also depends on what you are using the filter for (oil/grease can’t be vacuumed off)Brilliant sleep setting, with no lights and minimal noise.Very good visual light display on top according to how polluted the air is. Green is good, red is bad :) Automatic setting adjusts the fan speed accordingly.Yes, it’s quite big, but you’d expect that for the amount of air it can turnover.Thoroughly recommend this filter for a large space.

This is a superb unit, well designed with an excellent feature set. Although a large unit, it's not too big, particularly given the amount of air it can process. It's well constructed, using high quality materials and very quiet in normal use. When it detects poor air quality it can be set to automatically increase the fan speed which, although noisier, is not excessive and soon reduces as the sensor detects the air quality improving. As a bonus, if you decide to use the app, it's easy to setup and provides a couple of extra functions. Finally, I had a minor problem with a rattle from the fan and had to contact Levoit customer support. Their response was friendly, timely and quite simply outstanding; I had a replacement unit within a week. Highly recommended.

Quite modern looking. Easy to work and you can see the results. Cleans the air. Goes from red to amber to green then blue so you can tell when the air is clean. Plus the coloured lights also give a number so you can see when it is about to change colour. Bought this for our holiday home as there are calimas so wanted it to clean the air so we were not breathing in sand from the Sahara. It was also good cleaning the air when we were cutting tiles.

We bought this in January 2003. We use it whenever we have visitors, including when my son visited with his toddler daughter and they both had colds. We did not get their colds!It gives us decent ventilation during the winter months when we can't have the windows and doors open. We are very glad we got it.

An absolutely marvellous piece of equipment, with its sleek design and simplistic functionality this device is exactly what you need if want the air in your home or office to be purged of all impurities in a quick and efficient manner. Your lungs and nose will thank you.

We have a smaller Levoit purifier which worked well for the bedroom but needed something heavier duty for our large open plan living room kitchen to help clean the air. We are not able to have an extractor fan so cooking smells always linger, and dust settles easily. This really does the trick. Very quiet when on in the background although when on full power can be a bit distracting. The sensor picks up when the air is contaminated and automatically adjusts fan setting. For example, frying bacon, it immediately turns up fan, and self adjusts when air is clean, about 10mins. Having a dog in the house, this helps also with pet dander. It is a bit bulky and is quite an expensive bit of kit but worth every penny so far.

We've had it in use for a while. It was bought for allergy season in our house. Unfortunately it hasn't made much difference to us.I haven't noticed any significant changes in the house in general.It is very light and easy to move around. The four speeds give the impression of the unit working hard but the higher speeds are very noisy and blow out cold air.The sleep setting is very quiet but does it do anything? I'm not sure.
