Great Product
I bought this for an outdoor movie night. I was a bit nervous when I opened the box because it was smaller than expected but this little speaker packs a punch! It was def loud enough and we only had it at 1/2 volume! We had the Flame Speaker last year for the movie night and it wasn't loud enough....this was much louder.

Not as loud as you would expect
Overall I’m happy with the speaker. The sound quality is good and battery life is acceptable. I’ve found it’s best to turn the speaker up all the way and use your device to adjust the volume. And like I said in the title, don’t expect it to blow the windows out or bust your ear drums. It is however loud enough for around the pool with family and a few friends.

Not impressed.
In all fairness it seems like a well made product however the actual volume output is much less than I hoped for. The FM reception seems very strong so that is good but I need something with more volume because of background noise.

Came out of box not working - long weekend ruiner and a big waste of time
Bought this speaker as a gift for a long weekend getaway, which unfortunately turned into a silent retreat. Needless to say, the speaker didn't work. Charged it for 7+ hrs as instructed by the manual several times throughout the weekend via multiple different outlets to no avail (btw seems like an important thing to call out, that even if this speaker DID work that it would take a 7hr charge before you can use it).Instructions were written in broken English which is never a great sign.LED screen wouldn't light up. Charge light wouldn't stay on. Built-in phone charger wouldn't work. Nothing about this "speaker" worked.Looked online and saw SEVERAL other reviews saying this experience was common and due to chip failure. I guess Monster doesn't test their products before sending and happily taking the consumer's money.Unfortunate - I previously owned Monster headphones years ago, but will make a point to avoid the brand after this experience, as will all the 12+ guests who didn't sign up for a silent retreat.
