Metallic Gold Spray Paint 250ml, TAR008B

like a gold bar, maybe not as shiny, but its not copper or brass, its gold

Used it for spraying Christmas decorations/ cones and thistle

Purchased the product to spray some brass metal handles that had discoloured. Used many spray paints previously, for up-cycling projects and shook can for a prolonged period to ensure liquid was well mixed. First coat seemed to apply fine, but on applying second coat after couple of hrs, noticed it had a chalky residue, that covered my hands (dry powder, not wet) Gave them a second coat and as you can see in photographs had a dry, powder finish, that rubbed off to the touch. Had to wash each handle to remove the surplus which filled my washing up bowl and sink with gold metallic powder. Even after washing and drying, there is still powder being transferred to my fingers, so how long this will last, before base metal shows through, is unknown. Would certainly not use this spray for any outdoor projects and time, effort and mess caused, would not use this product again.

Great stuff - I used it to lightly spray some black metal pieces of wall art to make them more of a dark bronze colour. Great, even coverage and has given my wall decor a nice vintage look

Easy to use and gives the look you are after in turning things gold - good colour - just not enough in the can for the price of it to do anything with - nor a lot of product for the price

Used it to freshen up door handles and was a great success

I have used this brand of paint in the past and never had a problem but for some reason this can was not good. (See photos) I would not recommend it.
